Hello, I have just read your story. I am not usually into dark/horror stories, I find I become scared easily. lol

But I must say I really enjoyed reading this, you put the story together so well I could not stop reading it.

The bird intrigued me, I wondered what his plans for it were.

Hello, a lovely poem and the title is great. my favourite verse is the last one, "Change, wind of Change."

The poem is typed in very small words, it makes it a little difficult to read.

Hello, I have just read your little story. " The Old Man," it is hard to change the views of older people, as you say, they grew up in a different time.

You do not say who the old man is, but you mention he was somone you cherished and looked up to.

Hello Teresa, first of all Happy Birthday for tomorrow. It is not all doom and gloom, after all doesn't life begin at forty?

I think having the things you mention, like a Condo, means nothing if you are not happy.

This would read better if you put into a couple of separate pargraphs. Also the first sentence should have been a capital , "Here I am."

Keep writing, you never know, this may be the big year!
