Hello THEonly, I have just read your poem, "Clear Sky."
The beauty of nature is something we unfortunately do forget and abuse.
NIce poem with a message.
There are a lot of mistakes in it , for instance, no capital letters, nt, should be not. With a little revising it should prove to be a really good poem.
Hello Rika, I have just read your poem, dedicated to your friend. It is so tragic when someone takes their own life. My brother did this, a long time ago now. We all learn to live with it, but never get over it.
I like the way you have described the names in each verse to help us to understand the poem.
Hello wordkraft, well this is amazing and you say it is actually true? I mean, I would not have minded just meeting them, especially Neil Sedaka, but you had a chance to almost kill them! lol
What an incredible story, so you have to have to have five stars. (If you will pardon the pun)
Hello Dathan, I just read your poem, "Thinking Out Loud." I imagine living with MS can be hard. This was written in 2000? I hope you are still coping well.
I like the lines, "I am here world and I'm on a quest, to let everyone know how we deal with MS." Those words show your courage and determination.
Hello express, I have just read your article about your Dads failing memory. It must be a very hard thing to live with, especially to see a parent lose their memory. I cannot imagine how hard it must have been for both you and your Mother. But you seemed to take a very positive approach to it.
Suggestions, I am not sure why you have so many fullstops between sentences. Example, " We both were. sleep. deprived."
Hello Roxie , I have just read your story, "Mrs Ackerman." What a lovely story and what a lovely teacher. I cannot imagine many teachers would be so kind today. I cannot imagine how disappointed You must have felt when first not presented with the gift. But it ended better than expected.
I think you missed out a word in the fourth paragraph, "but the depression and made it difficult for all of us."
Hello lexos02, what a lovely poem, but also very sad. it is sad and hard to take when the one we love does not love us back. "How can you sleep, while I cry and weep?" A question many have asked.
Hello bqle, I agree, I do not understand how children are allowed to read or watch these things. As for Miley Cyrus, do not even go there lol. Twerking is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard of.
Hello Karna Street, I just read your poem, "Be Confident." I think we should all be confident, it is surprising how it changes us and how we see ourselves.
Hello bqle1 and welcome to WDC. I have just read your piece, "Cover Up Or Strip Down." I cannot help but laugh. You are right some people are a little over the top in showing off their bodies, but I suppose it is their choice. We should not judge really.
I agree with the "Dress for Success," Saying though.
Hello Jason , An inspirational poem, till the last line. lol I understand you are standing your ground here but the last line could have been more gentle.
Hello Nathan, I have just read your Essay. I loved it and good for you. I dislike the saying, "Blood is thicker than water too." Even though I had both my biological parents. I agree the person who takes on the role of parent is your parent.
Hello latsyra, I have just read your poem, "Different Worlds." I don't know why, but I have it in my head of some sort of spaceman and the poet in love. I think it is the Timbuktu bit. I liked it, a lovely poem of a romance from two of different worlds.
Best wishes.
