Oh you are making me wish for warmer days! I love the flow of this and the pure tone of your voice. It has great imagery. Oh now I really wish for all these Summer images! You take me right to the beach. I can't wait to get away this summer and get a taste of all my favorite summer pleasures. Well you know I couldn't have wrote this any better! Your talent for taking my emotions and putting them in order is amazing. Yes, I know this is your life...but it feels so much like my own. It is a tight rope we walk when our kids are not in a good place mentally. I can feel the pain and your dang right, I never signed up for this and it seems like the Mom, never gets the break...Just then when we are our lowest, they smile or make us laugh and teach us that we are doing our best and in the end, this too shall pass! Not that I like you yelling at me, with all these Caps, but I sure do like your message here and I agree LIfe is about choice and we need our service men and we need our Country Pride! I just read an article that talks about not bailing out our American car companies, and even if it isn't the wisest thing to do, we still have to support our American campanies! So do you live in Detroit? Do you know someone that works on an assemply line? Do you know that Michigan's economy is used to the Big Three and need their status quo in our State? I agree, keep giving money to the CEO's is not wise. I agree that they need to make some better choices, but I don't want to live in America without the three most powerful car companies. I don't want to say I am an American but I can't buy an American CAR! Bailout or not, I think we need to support our AMERICAN CAR Companies! Write ON!

It is important if you want your words to hold the power and the emotion you have to use the proper English to make your point. I love that you are going to get the one you want. I don't know how old you are, but I am guessing less then 16 if you haven't had your first kiss yet. I loved your list because it is ageless. It is all accomplishable and it can come true. I totally believe in having a list. I wrote one when I was 13 and I am 44 and all the things on my list have come true or are very close to happening right now. So never give up on your wish list! Add to as often as you cross one off!

There are many kinds of faith and religions, and I agree with some of this, that we really have to make up our own minds about destiny and fate. I don't like to blame hate on religion, but I do know that some poeple really believe that. I like to live in a kinder place in my heart and mind.
I agree being born a certian way, should never be discriminated by a religion. I do feel that is wrong. I really don't think God had that in mind, but I still don't know. I like to use my own judgement and someday when I die I will find my own truth and reality.

Well it has been a long time sense I have rocked my babies, but holding an infant is such a wonderful feeling and I smiled with every word I read of your poem. You bring it all back. That smell, and sound and feel. Wonderful and babies rock!
Okay I had to come back and offer a little more shower time! Now this is really cool. I think of this style of poem and it's not an easy task to complete. It is the power of one's imagination that can transport an ordinary prompt into a secret garden and a girl's dream bedroom! I loved the fighting between siblings, too real and yet this is fiction. I would love to find a secret garden like that! Wonderful writing but I did notice one area of wordiness and that is the beginning, when David pushes you out of the way, you have all but...just a suggestion to remove it and I think the flow would be stronger. Just an idea and I am sure after all the feedback from Simply Positive you will be overwhelmed!

Wow after all that time, you never found out how she turned out? Wouldn't it be crazy if you could find out? I can't imagine what that poor child went through and I mean Karen's mother. We forget that young teenager's are not aware of what good parenting means, it they are not taught it at home. The world is a much better place when we have caring people like yourself that can open your heart and your arms to a young child. I would die a million times over with that kind of painful goodbyes.
