When we give our true love to God, it makes it easier to love and honor ourself. I have to say, I recently could not keep a promise and I think it will be okay. At times broken promises are gifts. You have to be careful what you promise. Thanks for sharing your inspriring poetry.

The path is never easy without having someone to walk it with you. I love how this short story can be really so much more then a blind person, you can be blind in so many ways, to your faults, to the reality of life around you, to those in need. I have been this woman. I have been shattered on the inside. In my mind a depression took hold of me and changed the shape of my entire life! What a wonderful poem for me to end on! Today the little Yellow school bus did not come, the kids are home from school. I have much joy to live and much sorrow to endure. I don't know...the Mother's heart sure can hold a lot and ask even more. To wait for a safe return. You have said so much in only 55 words. It speaks volumes about family and safety and that the cycle of life is much like the pattern of the moons! Great writing!

I am laughing with you and not at you! I can feel and understand so much with this! I am currently taking a mutlicultural class for my masters and I just did a genogram on my Italian family. To say it was eye opening would be an understatement! I don't normally promote my own writing when I review, but I think you might get a kick out of my Italian Grandma's poem. I learned all my swear words from my grandma!

I too am part of the Native American Indian Group, so I can really understand where this Totem Wolf poem is about. What I really can relate to is your passage...Long suffering years of imperfections. Wow that line speaks right to my heart. I love that you end this poem on hope and understanding. I belive that is what our totem animals are to bring us! Your poetry is so inspiring! I really wish a fairy could spread good will that easily. What a wonderful world this would be. I can so relate to the heartache and relationship breaking up. I can feel that emotions of your pain. I think you have very powerful words here. I do however have one suggestion to make this a perfect 5 and that is to Cap your i's. I is the most important word in this poem. If this is about you and you want to be important then you need to cap you I. It is really just a pet peeve, but proper grammar can make a weak poem, become so much better! Wow, I can feel so much love and comfort from your words. I can see in my mind, curling up on the couch with my favorite blanket and being touched with that inner peace and love.
