I have to say, there was something special about this writing, about the way you wrote it. Your grammar and story telling was beautiful. You set a scene up in my mind that I will remember. The imagery coming from the words and lines were fantastic. It WAS very dark but somehow, I felt connected to the theme. As a hopeless romantic I couldn't help but call out to the woman in the story, saying "don't do it" .... I reached deep inside to discover that this story is actually very good. The "Cray Brothers" in England 1960's would sit at Dovers cliff edge and remonice their mothers life. They too comtemplated falling to their deaths. This was all a vision though. Although the tale you wrote was dark and sad, it seemed to have a lasting effect on me. There was a haunting feel to your story, the haunting was real and vivid. A very good piece of writing.

If this piece of writing is a song then I have never heard it. The story in the writing was enjoyable to me. I wasn't sure where Helen would end up and certainly didn't think hubby would take her back. I felt at ease with the life Helen had achieved for herself. I thought this writing from you was very sweet and quite uplifting. I think wishing is like praying, they are very similar. I liked the story of the boy and girl becoming good friends and how they helped each other through. I have been to God many times for guidance but I have never thought of the wish God.
