Hello Anjali Francis,

What a wonderful story! Told so vividly and with so much visual effects. I enjoyed reading this little tale very much, it was delightful. A young lady Holmes, to be sure. I love the country where it takes place! When I go there again in just a few weeks to Salzburg for a few days I will think of your story and of Liselotte. Thank you so much and have a wonderful 1st WDC birthday.

Hello SabrinaCarl,

I love the sun, but we all know that too much sun is rough on the skin! This piece is adorable and is one to keep for sure. I love the way you play with words and I find I do that a lot of the time.

The beat and the rhythm is just perfect for me and I could have read more into this piece. Thank you for sharing and welcome to Writing.Com. I look forward to reading more of your work in the near future.

Hello Journo at work,

I must admit that from the time I got up this morning in very hot and sunny California, I have been laughing while doing my reviewing here at the WDC. Nowhere else can I get so many laughs for free. Thank you, thank you for this laughable cutie it had me in screaming tears. I could see this spinning lady falling off the treadmill, and then coming by taking the brownies out of green bag. Come to think of it I promised to make some brownies for my underweight sister today, so I'd better get on my weight...I mean way!*Laugh*
Take care and welcome to Writing.Com, I'll be back very soon for more good laughs.

Hello Bighead,

I can truly relate to this lovely piece! Not just to the elderly, but to the young, and young at heart.

Life is like a candle in the wind just a tiny bit of wind and the light goes out.

Thank you for sharing the love of these two people and welcome to Writing.Com.

Review of Lady Winter
Review by MDuci
Rated: E | (5.0)
Hello Daegal,

Lady Winter is all that you've painted her to be and what a beautiful job you did with your brush dipped in emerald of the most vivid color, (also my favorite color). Would you believe that I could see the visual of her tipping so lightly among the orchids? What a picture, what a refreshing thought for a look towards winter. Thank you so much for sharing and welcome to Writing.Com.

Hi Fractalmom,

I always know if I need a good honest laugh I can run by your site and you'll have one for me every time.

This one is no exception, it is Saturday morning in my house, my sister likes to sleep in on sat. I like to laugh out loud and be thankful for another living day.

I'm sitting here laughing my insides out not far from her bedroom at my reference desk.

Picture her opening her door and glaring at me, then she looks at my pc and sees the bright yellow on the screen.

"Oh! Writing.com," she complains, "don't you ever take a breath?" as she slams her door.

Now I'm really screaming both at her and this last line, 'Life-its NOT like the brochure'

Thank you so much for this great read and a thousand laughs.

Sincerely

Hello Inky Nib,

Wow! I really do love this one, I love every tiny short line.

This must be the cat's meow (excuse the pun) it is just super wonderful.

The last stanza is just what the doctor ordered for me tonight.

'we can only look above and within
my heart is my ocean
my dreams are in the sky
I live while alive
And my line is when I die'

Thank you so much for sharing this little darling, welcome to Writing.Com and keep up the great writing.

Hello Ms Chantelle,

This is so very beautiful! Every word you speak/sing is just wonderful. You have filled my heart with the sound from above and I know in My Fathers House all is well. Thank you so much for sharing these words with me tonight they touched the core of my soul. We are living in time of peril and I don't think it can touch us if we just call on his name. I love your every line, but these stand out for me,

'We all try to blend with those
Who don’t want the yellow rose
But I disagree
Cover what you need to hide
But let your self go free'

I will come to visit again very soon to read more from your site and welcome to Writing.Com.

Hello Avanti,

What a wonderful piece you've written and in reading I could feel the angel soaring to great heights high above the clouds and for a fleeting moment I felt that I was taking that same soaring flight!

I could close my eyes and see the picture you painted so very clear. Your intellect is powerful for one so young. Please continue to write and never let anything come between you and your gift. I love every line and these lines do stand out,

'Reached an endurable land,
rocks of heights, splendors of nature.
Desirable sights so grand;
surrendered it for a greater adventure.'

Good luck in your writing adventure and welcome to Writing.Com.

Hello Bella Bunny,

What a beautiful poem written for your mom! I can truly relate to this piece as I had that same beautiful relationship with my mom. She had the strength of ten men and the temper to match when
it came down to her children. I love every line
of your poetry and these are my favorite,

'How shall I thank you for your love?
You proved my worth; you gave me pride.
You helped me show to all the world
The fearless girl who lived inside.'

I hope I have shared that same strength with my children and that it will carry on over to my grandchildren. Thank you for sharing this lovely tribute and welcome to Writing.Com.

Hello Side Salad,

This is truly a little cutie! I love each one of your lines. I could really see this body all shinning and
sunscreened down laying across the sandy beach. At least for five minutes anyway*Laugh*out loud please.

In sunny California I'd really have to scrub those dirty sunshine skies(smog)abounds.

Hello Froedrik,

You hit a home run with me with this one! I love riding and I will be riding in the Cinque Terre
next month and it will be a big challenge for me
as there are five villages and lots of hills to climb.

I'm preparing myself for it, so it was refreshing to get your birds eye view on bike riding. Thanks for sharing.

Please continue to write and ride, welcome to Writing.Com.

Hello Whome,

This is just the cutest little cutie I've seen all
day. The sun has such loving and tender caress's at
the beginning but he can certainly do some big time
skin burning if your foolish enough to hang out with him for any length of time. I know for sure because
I made that mistake once or twice. Ah, do we ever learn? Non.
Thank you for sharing and I'll be back to visit again

Hello Coffeebean,

Behold Pittsburgh! This has the markings of a beautiful story. Several years ago I spent a month in your beautiful city while on tour there with my singer/jazz musician husband, also named for your city founder. It was a delightful experience for me and I loved every moment of it.

I still can see clearly the 'William Penn' hotel and how wonderfully we were taken care of by it's wonderful staff.

Thank you for bring these fond memories of this enchanting city at night back for me. Great writing,
and a wonderful read.

I will come to visit your site again very soon and welcome to Writing.Com, keep writing.

Hello Songbird,

One need only read this lovely poem you've written to someone you care for! To see that you yourself have
a very special place with the Father. I love that
you are giving loving advice and not preaching to
her. I pray that she is taking your advice and listening to what he has to tell her.

Thank you so much for these lovely words that come from the beautiful spirit within you. And welcome
to Writing.Com.

Hello aboutjen,

This is a little keeper for sure, it wrapped its arms around my neck from the moment I saw the title and would not let go of me. You have written my kind of poetry and I love every line and the colors you've displayed are brilliant. I love this line so much, being the romantic that I am, 'I go back to the moment we met and play it over and over again.' Awww, that's so lovely.

Thank you for sharing and welcome to Writing.Com, I be back to read more from your site very soon.

Kiya dear,

These short stories are so incredible! A great piece of writing. I like your choice of words in story #1, the view from the child’s narration was so believable in her voice, "the rains have washed away the smell of war." left a lump in my throat.

Very good account of Vietnam and the conflicts there, brought such pain to many. Hope you do great in the contest.
Thank you for sharing Kiya, hope you have fun in NYC.

Review of rose

Hello Susie,

I love poetry, and this piece is so beautiful. First because I love red roses, second because you have matched a rose to pain, which in humans it can certainly bring much pain and draw blood as well. Third because I like the colors that you've presented and underneath all of these things lies beauty. Thank you so much for sharing this poem and welcome to Writing.Com.
