It's your birthday soon.
But for now enjoy a review on Saturday afternoon.
The plight of the homeless is near to my heart.
I often seek others ways to do my part.

One year we collected 78 back packs and bibles for the homeless,
Begun with a leading of the Lord and a step of faith with no looking back.
Bibles from the Gideon's were also supplied,
My fear of speaking to strangers was belied.

Your poem touched the emotional button,
and this is the beginning of your review proper,
Form and structure are rock solid.
Prosaic in nature it has it's rhythmical timber.
Flow is smooth and easy on the eyes.
Looks like a syllabic regimen is adhered to.
