Oh I like this lady. In fact I can relate to her and her need to find the bright side in everything. It really is a choice to see the best in everything and to live on the sunny side of the street. Not always easy, but something that can be done!! Great job of sharing the sunshine!

I am not sure what the difference between lyric and poetry are, but this reads like wonderful poetry to me. I can feel and see so much in this. I do believe we can all relate to the death of innocence and I really like the way you describe the eyes. Great job and thanks for plugging this on the review page.
Wow, no face for real? I think that would make me scream!! Okay this reads like a novel. You have all the makings of a real nightmare. Yes, I can hear the scream, but the touching a person with no face is just down right freaky!! I hope you did well for the contest!!

Have you seen the movie The Soloiest?? Something about this poem, sparks a feeling I got from that movie. That we want to make something understood, that we will never understand. I love the hope in this and that giving a new kind of music could be like magic and cure the mental illness. What a thought.

Now this is HOT! Holy this is the kind of dark side I like to hang out in! I never get enough of this kind of passion, of course I wonder if you can ever really get enough of this??!! Like I said your words are moving full of passion and light and feeling and oh to be wanted and needed and expressed. The best life and love had to offer!
You know your poetry reads like a novel. I mean you have so much going on, action, drama and romance along with some very real dark heart thuds going on. I don't know how you keep doing it. Each poem is so dark and unique and fun to read. Perhaps I am twisted, I don't know...More like jealous!! Thank you so much for sharing a fun and dark side of reality. I like it!!

Thank you for plugging this poem. I love Van Gogh's Starry Night picture and can see it plan as day in my mind, I can also see how the past is not done. I love the "what if's in life. I mean it really is all a wonder if we get it right. If we really are with the person we are suppose to be with. I could go crazy with the what if's. I have to find a way to live in the moment and forget the past and let it stay forever in the back ground on my soul. It works sometimes. Thank you for sharing. I get it!!
I think this poem is not descriptive enough. You are talking about a universal feeling and joy is so simple that you need to expand on it more, give more feeling and emotion in this. Just my opinion, I want to really feel something when I read poetry. I want to imagine the world with love in it. Write on!
If your friend is half as smart as you, she will return the love. Friendships are the best form of love, because they come with so much acceptance and free sharing. Behind closed doors, I lock away a lot of dark thoughts, I get scared easy so I have too! I try not to dwell in this dark place very often, but I know where I need to go when I need to hide and think! I love the flow of this and I am not familiar with this poerty form so thank you for informing me. Loved the image as well.

I have to say the beginning was hard to get into, but once the shunk arrived, it was pretty funny. I don't know if I wouldn't clean up the vomit or wake up my wife. I suppose he knows best. I did think he got his point across, but what would have been the prank had the skunk not arrived? Hum? Thanks for sharing this funny story. I am so glad I couldn't smell it!!
I have to say that the tulips do not last long enough. When they are all blooming at once, you think spring will last forever, but too soon the blooms blow away! I love this haiku. Great job of showing off the blooms of spring.

Why this just breaks my heart. To think of a father not being there to watch his son grow up to look just like him. The picture is so cute and the words so deep in meaning. What an awesome contrast of the human heart and reality. We all live with something that can bring us pain, but in your words I find hope and love. Wonderful and thank you for sharing.
Oh what a shame that we never learn! We want love so much that we are willing to hurt ourself, over and over again just to get back what might have never been real, but what our mind thought was. The imagery of burning hands is so descriptive. Great job and I can offer no suggestions, this is perfect to me. Write on!!
