I am so glad that you were highlighted this week for Simply Positive. I think it is so important to be good to the self. We can become so broken when we judge too harshly. We will always find other's with more and better. I also know their is worse and not so good. Finding that right balance inside is what it is all about. I can't think of anything to make this better! 1. Follow the prompt. You made the whole beach scene come alive in my mind. I could see the girls and the packed car. What fun!


2. Easy to Read. You have a way of pulling a reader inside your words. I was so drawn to this, right down to the doctors tears of joy. I loved this.


3. Errors/grammar. I am not an editor, so for me to find mistakes, they must really stand out.

I Judge on the following three items:

1. Follow the prompt. Not only did you follow the prompt but it followed the entire path of the story and you kept it even after all those years. I like that tie in. I would think those colors would be faded after so many years. LOL


2. Easy to Read. Yes, and enjoyable too!


3. Errors/grammar. I am not an editor, so for me to find mistakes, they must really stand out. Nothing stands out from my point of view. I think it is easy to relate too and understand. Very comfortable.

Oh the Consequence...wondering how it is going to work out. I love this opening!

There are no excuses for my actions, not even loss of mind
I allowed my heart to run toward greener grass

What a story you have here, is this hope or foolishness? Craziness gone mad? I can feel and see so much, but hope...I don't know. I think if I was a witness to this, I would be scared. What an image this evokes in my mind and soul. I hate to think that after such a full life, she would walk away off the edge of a cliff. Congrats on your winning Sunny Shellyville in the Summer Staycation activity. You know I already gifted Tara the poetry reviews, but felt horrible that I haven't done the same for YOU and YOU were the winning ticket. I got a little confused over at the staycation and now I just read this Wendy thing and I can't even think...The bees are whizzing by Wendy. What a lot of W's and I could even read them outload. Is the picture part of the prompt or only the word earth? I can't belive what an awesome image that tree is and coming across that in nature would give me goosebumps. Well I do love a good fireworks show and nothing beats those splashes of color in the sky. My little boy hates the noise but loves the colors. I can only imagine what animals must think of the fireworks. I like that you have made this about the animals and that we need to step outside our comfort zone and think of them on this speical occassion. Great poem and I can think of nothing to improve it.

This is a Simply Positive review,

I wish I could feel more emotion from this. It seems so cold and removed, as if being released was actually what you really wanted. No remorse, no painful regrets, no kicking or screaming NO STOP! I don't mind the lack of emotion but it is missed.

Oh girl am I crying with tears running down my face. You have described my nightmare and my hope. I know that Jacksons story is different and yet so much the same as Henry. I know he can feel for adults and has so little patience for idoits. He speaks his mind and is often fearful of the unknown. I can only hope that when he gets to middle school he will find a teacher that is willing to work with him and not against him. Thank you so much for this. I am so glad you told me about this story. It really is awesome writing and you are indeed blest to have that time with Henry. I am sure he is a student you will never forget! I will never forget this!
