This is your one year anniversary and I am giving you this review as your gift.
I think you did a perfect job on this piece of writing it shows a lot of talent for writing poetry. I especially thought that the repetition helped to support and move this poem along at a nice pace. my favorite part of the poem was:

What's the price for the meaning of life?
Is it worth the sin and the sacrifice?
The cheers and fears the blood, sweat and tears
Is it worth the loss of what I hold dear
With all this pride I have to hide
Now is the time for I confide
A dozed red roses to say goodbye

I liked it the best because it really has the meat of the poem in it. It tells of it tells that the poem is about two lovers saying goodbye. this was the most important stanza in the entire poem.

This is your second year at writing.com and that is special. I really liked your poem, you did an excellent job creating and writing it. I was kind of taken back by the title but I thought that the item description was very helpful for the reader, as it tells that this is a narrative poem and that it is about intimacy. You show a great talent for writing poetry I thought. My favorite part of your poetry was:


Beneath the drowsing spheres of heaven
their flesh met as their breath was one
For minutes did they love each other
and for a life's cry were they wed

I liked this the most because it tells that they were beneath heaven and that they wed it shows you are speaking of love not just lust. which I think is very important.

I hope you have had a very blessed and beautiful day as I have. Today has been your thirteenth anniversary on writing.com boy is that a long time what a milestone. congratulations on that. I chose to read this poetry as a gift for you on your anniversary. I thought the title was well founded and very appropriate for this particular poem. I do wonder why you misspelled circus in the title was it on purpose? I also think the item description was very helpful for the reader. I kind of had a little bit of trouble understanding the poem. I don't mean to say it was a bad poem only I have had a hard time to understand its meaning. Your writing is good I just personally don't get it. It may just be me. As you write very coherent.

Hello The StoryMistress ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary, I do hope that you and your entire family are having a very blessed day this evening. I chose to review the Weekly Goals for your eighteenth anniversary , which will fall on the thirtieth, because I think it is one of the most important Posts of the web site. It motivates writers and reminds them that they need to set goals in order to accomplish many more things than we normally would. It makes us stop and think about what goals we should set for ourselves. The goals that we make for ourselves should be well thought out and have real meaning to them. for those who don't participate in the weekly goal setting they should know that they can get up to two thousand gift points for posting the goals on Monday and then coming back on Friday and updating whether or not you met your goals. It is an important part of writing.com I think.

Hello ,I really am glad that you have decided to submit an entry into my little contest. I think you entered a doozy. The fate of dragon kind.
wow how terrific I like the concept of your poem. I also think the title is great and also very appropriate for the story-poem. The form is the Sapphic Ode and it is a form in which I am not familiar with. The item description was very helpful for the reader, which is very important. The story - poem was well written and It was very original I thought. This story - poem was great I like the story of a dragon and I thought it was an emotionally charged story - poem.

Hello turtlemoon-dohi , I really did enjoy your wonderful story-poem entry for the month of August. I love fairy stories, and I feel as if you really did do a romantic and sweet tale of fairies. I thought that this was a great en try for my contest, you included such wonderful poetic devices as using assonance and alliteration as well as rhyme and you even had a n ice little rhythm going for the story -- poem. You really did show a lot of talent with this piece of writin g. I thought the title was excellent as well as being very appropriate for your writing. A love story which is full of happiness, tragedy as well as healing I think that you really did do a good job showing what your story is all about. Hello Sharmelle's Expressions , I came across this particular piece of writing as I was searching for something to read on writing.com's read and review pages this afternoon. I thought that the title was very nice and also very appropriate for this poem, you chose well. I think the item description was well done, as for this poem there is not much you can say to describe it. I love butterflies, because I think they are just beautiful and quite lovely. I can remember a song many years back that was called "Butterfly Kisses", it was quite a nice little song If I remember right. You did quite a nice job creating and writing this piece of poetry. I really liked it. You have a good talen t for writing poetry I believe. I like to make wishes and I never thought about making wishes on a butterfly. I've never heard of doing that before. You really did do a great job with this poetry.

Hello Savan141 , I came across this very small little story as I was passing through the read and review pages of writing.com. This item was so very short I wonder if there was a word count limit for some reason. The title was good and very appropriate for the item. The item description was very helpful also. I think the following should be looked at, it may need correction:


all the historical events happened in his life.

I believe it would sound better if you say "all of the..." but if there is a word count limit, the way you have it will work. I'm not taking off of your rating because of it, so don't worry.

Hello , I came across this item on writing.com's read and review pages while I was searching for something of interest to read this morning.
I like prose, so I thought I would give this a good look see. The prompt was very interesting to start with. "You just met Shakespeare, how will you keep up with his witty remarks?" I don't think many people would be able to keep up with Mr. Shakespeare, Do You? I think the item description should tell something more about the item in which you have written, the Prompt should be an author's note. I thought the title was excellent as well as being appropriate for the item. I did see one mistake in the item:

you still would be as well off as your are now

the word your should be you. I really did not notice any further mistakes and I thought the one you made is a very simple fix. we all make mistakes when we get in a hurry.

I am giving this review today as an item for our raid at The Power Reviewers Group! This is a very important poem that you have written. It was a great piece of writing especially for someone who was in the ninth grade when they wrote it. It shows a very good writing aptitude. I think it carries with it an important message and I like that, because it is not just a piece of fluff, it may actually help someone some day by reading this free verse poem. I really liked his character Mr. Spock from television's Star Trek, He was my favorite of all of the actors and characters. I bet you are so very proud of your autograph, I have several dozen autographs from people like, Lucille Ball, Ronald Reagan, John Wayne, etc. I never personally met them but my aunt did when she lived in LA. I just loved this poem. I thought it was so well written and really shows a lot of promise and talent. I am giving this review today as an item for our raid at The Power Reviewers Group! As usual you have written a real winner Dave. I love what you did with this poem, it is so very fantasy driven. I really don't know what else to say about it, except that it is really really good. I think the title is good as well as being very appropriate, I hope you either won or placed in the Daily Poem Contest, it was good enough to I thought.

I am giving this review today as an item for our raid at The Power Reviewers Group! I hope you have had a blessed day. This is a lovely and extremely romantic piece of writing. I thought the title was perfect and that it was appropriate for the writing. This poem's item description was also very helpful.
There was no rhyming in this particular poetry but it was so good and I do believe that it may have even taken away from the meaningfulness and the beauty of the poetry if you had rhymed it. I thought this poetry was so very meaningful. You did an excellent job creating and writing this piece of writing. I did not see anything wrong with the item at all. my favorite part of it was the following:


But to me, this is the romance--
spending time with me,

Listening, watching, attentive
to my every movement.

This is where I see your love
for me. Here in the quiet

Hello Molly ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary today, You have been a member since July 12, 2006, that is a very long while, you certainly have me beat by six years. I loved your poem about a mother's love, I am very close to my mother as a matter of fact right now I and my husband are having to stay with her as our house was vandalized. I only wish your poem was a little bit longer to express how much you love your mother and if you are close or not. It was a beautiful tribute to your mother anyway. I thought that the title was very appropriate for this particular poem. I also thought that the item description or the teaser was very helpful as well as being poignant. The poem itself was just terrific and I loved it. You really did tell of all the things a good mother does for her children.
It was great as I said I wish you would have made it a little more personal.

Hello ChristyD , I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary today, I hope you have had a blessed day You have been a member of writing.com since July 11, 2007, you've got me beat by about five years. I think this was a well written and very interesting essay about being shy, and how it can hinder one's progress in writing and in life. You did a great job on your writing, just overcome your shyness and let other people read how well you can write. I myself am very shy and I let it hinder me for a while, until I got a job at a radio station as a news commentator, I loved the job and it helped me to overcome much of my shyness. I then went on to work for a newspaper as a writer/reporter, and you'd better believe I came out of that shyness for sure then. I believe in you, you have a nice writing ability and if you put your mind to it I think you could see your name in print. All it takes is for you to dream it and work towards it and it may happen for you as well.

Hello Lulu , I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary today, I hope you have had a blessed day today. You have been a member of writing.com since July 11, 2004, that is surely a lot longer than I.
congratulations on your milestone. I thought this piece of writing is very poignant and also very sad. He scribbled in your palm, I figure he wrote that he loved you. I am so so very sorry for your loss it is so hard to say goodbye to someone we love especially when death is the culprit removing our loved one from us. I loved your poetry, it had many poetic devices used when writing it.
it had both rhyme and rhythm as well as assonance, which is when they sound similar to each other. my favorite part was the following:

I hear your tender voice
feel your arms around me,
you’re there; I know you are
Earth-heaven break that bond
You are out there waiting for me
To wave my magic wand

I thought the above stanza was very romantic as well as being heart breaking.
It is my belief that you will see him again in Heaven .

Hello Jimminycritic , I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary today, You are celebrating your tenth year at writing.com, Congratulations that is a great milestone, you have me beat. This piece of writing is awesome, though I have to be honest I don't understand how the last line fits with this poem, it really don't make a lot of since to me. where you say "Mom"! I thought the title was very good and appropriate for this item.
are you having a romantic sort of dream and then your mom awakens you to ruin it? Is that what is going on in this poetry? It would be helpful if you would write a good description in the item description location. I thought the poem starts out pretty hot, until you yell "Mom"! I read both renderings of your poetry. to be perfectly honest, I couldn't tell what you changed in the writing. of course I didn't compare them too closely.

Hello , I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary today, you have been a member since july 10, 2015, that is three years today. I hope you have had a very blessed day today.
I wanted to review this item as a gift for you today. This is a very good and creative piece of writing and I think you did a fantastic job creating and writing it. The title is so perfect for this particular item, as it is what is being discussed in the writing. I think the title is appropriate.
However, I do think the item description should discuss what the item is all about, it should describe the poem for the reader, I believe you should give a teaser to let the reader decide whether or not they want to continue on reading the item. I think this item was powerful and really was creative and original, it really did tell a story I thought.
