that is a long while, you've got me beat. I loved your poem< "A Kiss", it is a simple yet appropriate and good title for the item. I also think that you wrote a good and helpful item description for the writing. I can remember the first kiss I received, from my husband when I was but fifteen years old. It was so special, I shall never forget it. Though his kisses still today are also very special and they still make me swoon. Your poem really captures the essence of love and romance. I loved how the poetry rhymed and it also had a nice rhythm I thought. You show real promise as a good poet, especially of the romantic type of writing. You did a great job . *Thumbsup*

Hello PhoenixChik *Returns* ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary this afternoon, You have been a member since 2005, that is a real milestone. I do hope you have had a blessed day today as I have had thus far.
I liked the title, "Remember Me", I also thought it was very appropriate for this piece of writing. The item description was also very helpful to the reader.
I think you did a fine job creating this letter. I did see a few mistakes though. as the following will show:


Life has taken me on the craziest of journeys in the last 13 years and I have no written works to shows for it, well at least not many.

first I would change the tense of either works or shows they do not match.
try something like this: written work to show for it. and though it is not incorrect to write a number above ten I do think it would look better if you spelled it out like: Thirteen. but all in all you did a great job creating and writing this letter you can make a simple correction and get five stars next time I'd think.

Hello Angel ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary this evening, I do hope you have had a blessed day. You have been a valued member of writing.com since 2007, Wow you've got me beat by about five years.
I was surprised that someone could write a three hundred word essay or story about shoes. I liked the title of your writing, "The Lament of the Country Girl". I too am a country girl from the mountains of Kentucky and I love it.
But I don't wear those fancy shoes because they would just get muddy and dirty.
Thus the way of the mountains. I thought your piece of writing about the shoes was both clever and very cute. I like things that are different or unique and I felt that this writing was just that. You have all of those many lovely expensive shoes however, you can't wear them and people just shake their heads at you.

congratulations on such a milestone. I do so hope that you are having a blessed day today. I really liked your poem, although I found it to be rather sad and heartbreaking. It is about a grieving widow and how she is having difficulty continuing on her life by herself as she is afraid of losing memories. I thought that the title, "Life's Transitions", was a very excellent and appropriate title for this poignant piece of writing. Laura, I do hope this is not from true life experience, I hope it is just artistic creativity. It would be the most awful thing in this world to lose your true love, your spouse. The item description was well done and very helpful to the reader. I also thought the writing was so well written.

I hope you are having a blessed day, as I have had. I really think you have a wonderful way of looking at your lover's face. It is a very nice piece of writing. I loved the title, "love's face". I do believe that it is very appropriate for this item. I think the item description is both helpful and self explains the poem. I do think it is important that you know that the pronoun "I", when you are speaking of yourself, should always be capitalized.
In the following sentence:

his mouth is cupid's bow and when he kiss me I'am under his spell.

The word kiss should be kisses and the contraction I'm should not be I am using the apostrophe. but these are quite simple to correct and I do believe that you have done a wonderfully terrific job describing the face of love.

I liked the title, "The Meadow", I thought it was a very appropriate title for this written piece. I thought the writing was very well done and that it was also very beautiful. I have had a wonderful day myself excepting for the horrible heat. I liked the piece of writing of yours that I read called "Telephone Lover", I felt as if this were a very appropriate title for this piece of writing. I thought, also, that this was a well written piece of poetry and that the item description was very well done as well as being helpful. I thought this was an odd subject matter, but believe me this is not unheard of, as I have personally known of things like this happening before. Hello willwilcox ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary this afternoon, I do hope you are having a very blessed day, I have had thus far and just pray the rest of the day will also be good. I love to laugh and I found that you have written some lovely and also some very humorous poetry. I chose to read this one because I just love Thanksgiving as there is so much for people to look forward to in the way of family, friends and sharing a wonderfully delicious meal of Turkey and dressing and all the works. I was caught quite of guard by a turkey made of spam and fashioned with feather dusters. I can close my eyes and just picture such a site. Then for it to catch on fire and be a blaze with flames that is a very peculiar looking picture to envision. I think, however as long as we have our family and something, anything to eat then we are truly blessed, as things can always be worse.

I thought this was an ingenious idea to leave the title untitled on purpose as it describes what the papers are that you found. I think that this title was so very appropriate for this item. I also thought that the item description was well done. I felt it put further emphasis on the fact that the item was left untitled on purpose. The poetry itself was also very well written and very clever as well I thought. We all have these scraps of paper in our purses that are just various pieces of our life's writing, and they are very seldom titled.

Hello Angus , I am taking the WDC Power Reviewer's Martell's Game of Thrones Mini Challenge. I really enjoyed reading this very special and very Patriotic piece of writing about the Fourth of July, Our Independence day from England. It is about our beautiful flag also known as the Stars and Stripes, which is what you named this wonderful poem. I thought the title was very appropriate for this writing. I also thought that the item description was very helpful to the reader. It rhymes very well and it also has a nice rhythm or at least the way I read it, it did. You seem to be a very good poet, You should certainly write more poetry in your portfolio. It is very nice to read some work that is patriotic, so many people now days don't appreciate the freedom that we enjoy. I this is a poem with the prompt: Arrrgh! They have their own island. Really? I thought that you met your prompt very good. I think this was a wonderful addition to the prompt, As you are speaking of the oh so harmless Disney, I just love all things Disney. Mary you always have such sweet poems and nice writings of all types in your portfolio. I thought that the title of this piece of writing was very appropriate for the item. "The Spin", is a very nice title. The item description is very helpful for the writing. Why do Children Spin? That is the question which you answer in this piece of writing. The item description is very helpful for the reader I thought. When I was a child I loved to spin like a top my favorite thing was to get on the merry go round and spin around and around until I became sick. Why? I do not know. It was fun until I became sick. Children do the strangest things I guess. But we used to have more fun than the children of today. They only know how to play video and computer games. They don't know how to play the way we did.

Hello Allen Harriet ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary today, I do hope you are having a blessed day today, as I am having.
I really thought this was an highly emotionally charged poem. It was very very sad, as I do know there are so many homeless out on the streets and many of them are just small kids and young people. It is a truly bad thing that this many people find themselves homeless in our wealthy nation. I think the title of your poem, "Homeless Guitar Boy", is very appropriate for the poem as well as being very lovely. I also think that the item description is very helpful for the reader. I didn't really get it, Did the young man die? Or was he just asleep? The poem was touching and sad I thought. I can't stand the thought that there are people out on the streets especially in the cold winter months.

Hello Write-fully Loti ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary today, This is your sixteenth year at writing.com, that is surely a milestone so congratulations. I thought your poem, "Soft Spring", was very well written. it had both assonance as well as alliteration, which helped to move the writing along at a nice pace I thought. I love when a poem contains alliteration it makes it so smooth. I liked the title and I thought it was very appropriate for the piece. I also thought that the item description was very helpful to the reader. This poem is about spring, which is one of my favorite seasons of the year, that and autumn. You show a lot of promise as a writer and a Poet. This was truly a nicely written piece of writing. I am always glad to see the winter leave and the spring enter because it brings with it such lovely weather and lovely flowers like spring daffodils and irises.

I am not familiar with Robert McDowell myself so I don't know his writing.
I thought the title you have chosen was very appropriate for this piece of writing. I also thought that it was helpful to the reader what you wrote in the item description. This was a nice piece of writing and I found it to be interesting as well.

Hello Quick-Quill ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary this evening, I do hope you have had a perfectly blessed day, as I have had.
I chose to read this item due to the title it kind of was a little different.
However, it was appropriate for the story you wrote. I thought the item description was very well and it was a bit helpful to the reader, which is always important. I thought you did a lovely job creating and writing this little story. The story surely made me smile and I always like that. The only thing I saw wrong with the story is at the end instead of saying she stomped down the stairs( with an s) you said she stomped down the stair(without an s).
I thought that your writing was excellent my favorite part was the following:

“It is a horrible, ugly, terrible day. I hate it!” Her brows met in the folds of her frown, her lips pursed, while her arms wrapped around her body.

I thought the above was very descriptive and you did a wonderful job describing her mood.

Hello Dave ,I am your judge for the Story-Poem Contest and I'd like to judge your entry. I appreciate your participation in my contest. You are a regular and I admire all of your body of work. You are a terrific Poet, Teacher and writer. You are always teaching me new forms of poetry and it is always helpful when you add an author's note detailing the rules of the form you have chosen to write in. This particular entry was just wonderful I really truly enjoyed it. I loved the title I thought it was both unique and appropriate for the item. I have never head of the LaCharta poem before but it is a neat one and I might try to write one myself. I would like to wish you good luck in the contest. This month I will probably just award first place because of lack of participation. If a few more people enter then I'll also award second.

I thought that this was a very powerful poem. it tells us the importance of time. time will run out on all of us at an hour we will never expect. time is ticking and we never know how much we will receive. I thought that the title was appropriate for the poetry. I also thought that the item description was helpful. you did a very good job on this piece of writing.
I enjoyed reading it and I thought it was an important lesson for the reader to receive.

Hello nahj2nadie14 ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary this evening, I hope you have had a very blessed and happy day today as I have had. I am writing this review for you as a gift for your eleventh writing.com anniversary. Congratulations on such a milestone. This writing was very unique I had some trouble understanding some of the stanzas but I got the gest of most of it. I really liked the title it was great and very appropriate for the writing. I believe you should write a little about the meaning of the poetry in the item description location for those of us who don't quite understand the whole poem. I t is very important that the reader understands.
my favorite part of the writing is the following.


The Man was now in his final stroke of life, lost forever in the demons he found but would not leave him
A great grey beard slithered downwards its width was that of the man
He stood for a few moments gazing at the miniscule grime infested window
Catching glimmers of sun in his eyes, the yells of young children not knowing what would become, his thoughts danced to an fro but paused.

I had no trouble understanding this particular piece of writing from your poem.
I like that the poem told an entire story that is cool. you should enter something in the story poem contest, you might do well and win a ribbon or a merit badge. anyway I thank you for sharing this item with me I appreciate your talent, you keep writing and I'll keep reading God Bless You.*Heart*

I really tugged on the ole heart strings. I felt as if it were highly emotionally charged. I was there when you needed me
I loved you unconditionally
I prayed for a miracle
Hoping God would let you stay

I loved this stanza because it was really from the heart and it showed your spirituality, which to me is one of the most important ingredients in most anything.

This review is a gift to you for your eighth year at writing.com. congratulations! This poem was so very unusual I really didn't know how to take it, I am so very glad that you wrote the author's note at the end of the poetry as it gave me a clear vision of what you meant and how you meant it. The poem was well written and I did enjoy the form. I like that the poem was written in couplets and that it was a rhyming poem it didn't make it feel so heavy. I think the title is well founded and appropriate for the writing. I also thing that the item description is very helpful to the reader as it tells what the poem is about. My favorite part of the poem is.

The crowd cheered and clapped, the show had been entertaining,
The weather became romantic and slowly it started raining.

I liked the above couplet because I can just picture two lovers standing in an embrace in the pouring down rain.
