Hello Barefoot Bob , I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary this evening, You have been a valuable member of writing.com since February 3, 2002, about seventeen years. I think that is an enormous amount of time to be with us here. You have written a wonderful Haiku, poem about the environment.
I thought that it was very sad, it reminds me of the horrific oil spill in the Gulf. I can't believe what we humans are doing to this glorious planet, which Our Good Lord provided for us. I think this was an eye opening poem.

The title of this item was excellent and very well appropriate for this item. I also thought that you did a wonderful job with the item description The reader should find this to be v ery helpful.
I thought that this was a wonderfully fun poem to read and I also thought that it was a little bit of a tongue twister in places. I found that you used several poetic devices to help create this well rounded poem. it had alliteration, assonance and I just thought it was a lovely subject on which to write.

You are a valued member and I do hope that you are having a very blessed day today. I thought that the title of your little poem waS v ery well founded and appropriate for it as well. I thought that the item description was especially helpful to the reader of the poem. I so enjoyed this well written piece of literature.
My favorite stanza of the -poem was the following:


Sweet Arendelle,
hide not thy path from me.
Moonlight reveals the blessed way,
an entrance there! Ahead the moon shines white
within the forest dark.
Guiding me to once again behold
thy pleasant vales and glens,
with wonder and delight.

I thought that this was just a wonderful description.

I can just envision you trying to sleep, while the birds are on the outside perching and singin g keepin g you awake. I can just see and hear you scream for silence as you slam the window fiercely down. The poem is a very real thing that I bet a lot of people can identify with. my favorite lines from your poem are:



My harsh wail of "QUIET!!!" echos through the wood.
And the birds abandon their perch...

I do so hope that you are having a blessed day today. I liked the Haiku poem you wrote for the Spring Haiku contest. I love a Haiku, as I think they are straight to the point without wasting a bunch of words. It is a wonderful oriental form that I can really appreciate. You did it just right I thought. I love the spring it brings forth such happiness and beauty with the Dogwood trees and Eastern Red buds in my home of Kentucky. I also love the
wonderful daffodils of yellow and white and even the on es with the orange middle. I can look forward to the spring it is in the sixties here in my home today. So much better than the deep freeze of the other day we had.

It is a very unusual subject to write a poem about,, but I do love the unusual. I think that you did pick a winner to write about.; My favorite part of your little poem was:

Then 'twas first announced
As the song of a mocking bird
In the first things you pronounced.

You say that this was a prompt poem however, you don't tell the reader what he prompt is. I think the poem is well written and I wonder if you won the contest, as there is a ribbon of red attached to the item.

Hello Rainbow Writer ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary,
this evening. I khope you had a blessed day as I did. I see that you have been a member of writing.com since January 8, 2007, that is about twelve funfilled years that we have been fortunate enough to have you amongst us.
I came across this poem in your portfolio and I thought 8it needed to be reviewed, I am fortunate enough to have had a very close relationship with my father in my life. We were like a team He called me his shadow, as I followed him everywhere he went. He passed away in 1986 at the young age of 44.. I miss him everyday as I'm sure y0ou miss your own father. I think that your poem is just so sad, I'm sorry that you had the misfortune of having strong words that you are left to recall. It is a sad thing, but I'm sure your father knew that you loved him and that is what he took with him. your writing really touched me.

I just read "You and Me", I thought that you did a great job creating this poem about a relationship that ended on a sad note. I think that the title was a very appropriate on e for this item. and I also think that the item description is very well suited for the item.
I think it is a hard thing to en d a relationship on a good e nding now days.
I am fortunate to have married and still b e happily married to my first boyfriend thirty three years later. The part I most understood was the following:

We've spoken briefly since then
You seem no more mature
Now I am the grownup
And still you seek a cure

I pity you now sadly
I think you'll never find
The courage or the confidence

Hello PlannerDan ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary this evening, You have been a member of writin g.com since January 2, 2004, that is an impressive amount of time, much longer than I have been. I hope that you have had a simply blessed day today as I have had. I appreciate reading your lovely poem about your son going from trucks and toy soldiers to marching down the isle for his wedding. That must make you incredibly proud of him. He, I believe is the second of your children. congratulations to you all. I thought that this was a beautifully written and poignant piece of writing. I love to read about people and how they love to watch their children in their more memorable moments in life. my favorite part of your poem was the following stanza:


For you’ll always be our youngest of two,
And because of that fact, you’re a little bit special.
And our prayer, on the day that you wed, just for you,
Is that someday too, you may quietly marvel,
As YOUR precious child lets you watch, as they play.

I like where you bring this stanza around to play full circle with life.

Hello The Milkman ,I'd like to wish you a very happy account anniversary this afternoon, I do so hope you are having a wonderfully blessed day, as I am.
This poem was beautifully written. I thought you really made a point of telling about the girl on your mind. You should let her know how often you think about her, you never know, she might reciprocate. I noticed that you did not rhyme the first stanza but the second was nicely rhymed and because of that, it was my favorite stanza:


My day goes on envisioning her face,
my day goes on drifting in space.
Mind wanders to her distant side,
body goes along for the ride.

the last stanza was both rhymed and unrhymed some lines rhymed and another was not. I really liked your poem, I thought that it was romantic.

I am giving this review today as an item for our raid at The Power Reviewers Group! I loved this sweet and endearing piece of poetry. I think that you did a fantastic job creating this long distance love affair of the snow dance.
The title was quite unique and very appropriate for this item. I see that by the item description it is written for Eunelle. I think that this was a lovely piece of writing , my favorite part of it is the following:


But soon my legs grow weary
As the wind begins to weep
The bitterness I dream
While fitfully I sleep,


I like the rhyme and the loveliness of your unique words.

I think this is a poem about death and it is very well written, you did a really fantastic job creating this one of a kind poem. The title is so appropriate for this particular piece of writing. However I would add a little bit more to the item description if I were you. I think this is a very original piece of writing. My favorite part of the item is the following:



I want to die on a cold winter night.
Let the rain wash the pain away
Let the lightning guide my path
I want the tears of my loved ones
To get lost in the heavy rain.

This is a wonderfully written piece of writing. it starts with the spring of the year followed by summer, fall, and finishes with winter, as it follows all of the seasons of the year with a description of brief detail.
my favorite is the spring which is the first stanza:

Blooming flowers raise their heads
In ample fields of fragrant grasses
Rainbow colors, nature's bedspread
Springtime's here, but quickly passes

I think that you did an outstanding job with this.
The title was appropriate and the item description was helpful.

it really brought a smile to my face... as I recall my grandfather's home of old.
He used to heat his home with a black potbelly stove stoked with coal, which he mined himself. He was a coalminer in eastern Kentucky you see. I think your wonderful nostalgic poem was just great.
