Not an easy prompt to re- inact into a story line, capturing the essence of the family secret.
Garuda the special bird of incarnation, selecting a younger member of the family, to raise from the golden egg the life anew.

This story flowing along the lines of fantasy, a family grouped together.
Waiting for the squawks of the bird landing on the marble floor, lying lifeless. Then as if in a dream, it suddenly bursts forth into a flame, golden red crumbling into ash.

I don't understand why, but I put out my hand to see the golden egg.
It feels warm and now I know it's secret, my life long friend, shining a light on our family.

A suggestion -
"Now we're two states away"

Perhaps -
We need to tavel two states away, for daddy to park the car.....
