... flag burning.

My teachers assistant, (well, she's more of a teacher and an assistant, so we'll call her TnA Beatrice) pictured above, know a guy who wants to burn the American flag in protest. He's pissed off and wants to show it to the rest of the world.

Is he right or wrong to want to burn the flag? Should the burning of the American flag be illegal? Is it his right under the first amendment?

More to the point: When there are a bajillion America flags flying and magnetized to the back of SUVs and stitched on the jackets of everyone from veterans to neo-nazis, when they're made of nylon and polyester and produced in China, should flag burning be that big a deal?

Teach me! I know no better and TnA Beatrice is getting impatient... and frisky.

Tomorrow ("What I Learned Wednesday") I'll let you know what you've taught me.

... I got a reminder to update my blog. You see! This place has totally forgotten about God's calendar.

Starting tomorrow, every Tuesday I'm going to require your help in teaching me something. That's right. No more sitting there lazily thinking about Lost and eating salt-n-vinegar 'tator chips. You're going to have to actually work.

There's a catch to it though. I'm going to make some of the most re-donkulous claims and statements ever. They may be treasonous, heretical or... dare I say... thought provoking. We're going to solve the moral ambiguities that plague the mind of the modern man... together.

Beyond that, I think I'm going to start a contest, a funny and irreverent contest that will reward you with... something.

Also, I want to restart that WdC Film Fest we tried two years ago where we got a total of 2 entrants. If anyone is interested in that, let me know.

And finally, I just looked at the calendar and today is... that's right... INTERNATIONAL BRA MEMORIAL DAY. It's the one day of the year where we honor Johann Cartographer Brazier, who invented the bra and started the time honored Dutch tradition of copping a feel. Yeah... there really isn't a comment thread to start with that. Just give praise to the man I guess. Thank you Johann!

... blog.

There's no 31st on that calendar, but this is just to keep all the calendar purists happy. There, a blog on the 31st which is not on the WdC calendar.

I should be ruling twice as hard now!

... I have now completed a "Blue Month", a feat that no one else has ever accomplished. In fact I have just invented "Blue Months" something I'm sure everyone will try and copy from me. Just like emoto-swears and using commas before the words 'and', 'but', and 'or'.

But today isn't about me, it's about what I have done for you. I inspired you and gave you a reason to live. My sacrifice here on this web site of profit has lifted you out of your deepest, darkest loser despair and allowed you to bask in my warmth of awesomeness. So... you're welcome.

What about next month? Should I blow (the present tense of blue) that month too? The answer is - no. No I shouldn't. Instead of straight up kicking ass 24/7 for another Roman calendar month, I'm going to devote myself to pure, unadulterated randomness, humor and, as always, solving women problems. Cause if there's one thing I know it's the ladies.

So long friends. And even though there will be no blowing this month. There may be something else I can blow. If you think of anything let me know.

... midnight on a Thursday, you know what time it is!!!! DRUNK BLOG TIME!!!

That's right! Wednesday night is beer league volleyball night and that's wehn we all go and get slobbered and play some volleyball. Sounds like a radical, 1990's time? You bet your coal mining ass it is.

I've been dicking around this site and let me tell you... whatever the opposite is of a "Sausage Party", that's this site. And all the dudes who are on this site have given up forming an alliance long ago. They're too busy playing Anthony from Designing Women and trying to be platonic pals. F that S, says your ol' pal Phloppy Phallus Bosox. Let's turn this into a dating site.

My handle on our new dating site: Inches, aka Crotchzilla.

My turn ons: Capri pants and the musical stylings of Veruca Salt.

My turn offs: Upper lip hair, dry, white T-Shirts and Dan Brown.

There, have at me. You are the hunter and I am the hunted.

Did I mention I've been working out? Here's a taste of the hot and furious action of a Zack-tastic workout. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkHEyz8pcbI&feature=player_embedded

Tell me your turn ons and offs in the comments below. Maybe we'll get all eHarmony and have a fruity commercial of our own.

... heard the news about North Korea!?!

What a mess! Kim Jung "licensed to" Il has threatened war if their ships are searched! I just can't believe a rational man like that would get all flustered. I've had my car searched by the South Korean government and it's not all that bad. You just stick your weed or nuclear matter in bottles of shampoo, then the dogs can't smell it.

Here's what Xinhau news of China reports on the matter:

固定资产投资项目资本金制度既是宏观调控手段,也是风险约束机制。该制度自1996年建立以来,对改善宏观调控、促进结构调整、控制企业投资风险、保障金融机构稳健经营、防范金融风险发挥了积极作用。为应对国际金融危机,扩大国内需求,有保有压,促进结构调整,有效防范金融风险,保持国民经济平稳较快增长,国务院决定对固定资产投资项目资本金比例进行适当调整。现就有关事项通知如下.

It's not surprising though considering China's pacifist approach to foreign relations. On the other hand, Yonhap news agency out of South Korea took a much more direct route:

오후 3시 50분부터 20여분간 진행된 전화통화에서 이 대통령은 러시아가 북한 핵실험에 대해 강력한 성명을 발표하고 유엔 안보리 의장국으로서 신속히 대응한데 대해 감사의 뜻을 전한 뒤 "이번에 강력한 유엔 안보리 결의가 조속히 채택되도록 관심을 가져달라"고 요청했다.

Shocking! I know! But all this hard talk will probably end with the US mediating some sort of peace after China cools off the North Korean jets. As Fox News reported here in the states:

Toby Keith, drink coca-cola. Obama is a socialist, read more News Corps papers. Bill O'Reily, Bill O'Reily. Don't trust foreigners, America rules. North Korea bad. China okay as long as they make us rich. Ann Coulter is the new Virgin Mary. Death to democrats. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. White means right. Trust the rich. Watch American Idol.

Thank God for unbiased, no spin zones.

Did you watch wrestling back in the nineties? WWE not Greco-Roman. Unfortunately I did, but I was a testosterone jacked high school kid, what's your excuse? If you did, you will love this video, if you didn't, you will still love this video. Ashley will have to explain the Canadian Waffle House thing to me cause I thought those only existed in the American South.

Suck it.

...(34)s at, yo! Debi Wharton & Rainbowapple are my home-slices.

You see anything more than 34 is too showy and reveals a vanity, anything below 34 says, "hey, look at me being all blase and apathetic". So me and the ladies is pretty much... well, perfect. I defy anyone to argue otherwise!

Yesterday was a fine holiday in the US, but here's a holiday for everyone around the world to celebrate: INTERNATIONAL MEAT & CHEESE DAY!!! Started in 1987 to make John Wayne's birthday more appealing to international audiences, this holiday recognizes the world's diversity of meats and cheeses.

In the comments below please tell me your favorite meat and cheese combo. Mine? Bologna and shredded cheddar.

... Day, we remember those who gave their lives so that we may be free. Like John Wayne in the Sands of Iwo Jima or Tom Hanks in Saving Private Ryan, or Tom Berenger in Platoon. If it weren't for their sacrifice we may still be defending the Jewish faith from persecution abroad or Vietnam may have gone communist, but neither of those things happened, did they?

Here's a dandy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knbyKGta3hQ
