Review of In the trap.
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (3.5)
A philosophical poem based on the realities of life. The poet paints the dark sides of life with particular emphasis on punishment or rewards according to our deeds- karma. What we are to day and what will become tomorrow cannot be predicted. He believes in the present and not in the future. It is a veracity that our present will shape our future. The poem seems to be written in a disorganised style.

Interesting story analyzing the way and methods how the crime was committed . According to the photographs it might be the sheriff but they seem to be misleading. His friend suspects him but cannot really believe it. After many investigations and inquiries he comes to the conclusion that it can't be him

Review of She Dances
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (3.5)
A good poem praising the artistic qualities of the dancer. She seems to be swaying her body in a rhythmical manner and accompanied by a good choregraphy. The bodily movements are beautifully described and a real feast for the eyes. But why is she a poison and the writer wants a tactile appreciation?

A poem portraying what's happening after dinner. Everybody seems to be occupied with a particular form of entertainment. Some are watching TV, the smaller ones are playing outside. But there is sorrow on this auspicious occasion when the mother remembers her father and sheds a tear. Indeed at such particular time the dear ones come into mind and their absences are strongly felt.

Interesting poem reminiscent about the pleasant moments of childhood. But alas! this period will never return. Feelings of nostalgia of course. Childhood should be enjoyed to the maximum since it comes once in a lifetime. The topic is well chosen whereby everyone remembers childhood as if it was yesterday. Long live childhood!

A romantic poem portraying how everything seems to be good in love. At the beginning the lover feels to be living in another world with all the ecstasies of love. A long winding story about music. According to the writer Chaise finds the music boring and prefers to sit back in her sofa to start her gluttonous habits by eating the pie. But every now and then her friends must keep an eye on her lest she might get choked. In this way, they cannot enjoy the music programme. At certain points of the story there seems to be a digression

A sad story portraying how the canines are being parked in the kennel without paying heed to their freedom and needs. In fact they require care and attention just like human beings. These creatures also need love and companionship. When the lady enters the kennel the dogs manifest a great recognition and joy. We see them frolicking and jumping around. But unfortunately some of them have to be eliminated which provokes tears into the eyes of the lady.

A poem based on love-a triangular one I suppose. It portrays how love cannot distinguish between friends . In this situation it brings happiness and sorrow at the same time. By picking another person's lover will the woman achieve happiness in love? It is wrong to make other people suffer in love. But many selfish lovers don't care a fig about it.

A funny poem portraying the main character as being covered with hair from head to toe. It depicts that love is blind and cannot see any flaws in the opposite sex. There is so much hair that the partner must comb it and find out where is the important part of the body. Just like a gorilla, she /she does not need any dress.

A very touching story describing how the patient was fighting against the raised intra cranial pressure. We see also the devotion of the nurse to help the patient recover. Being myself a nurse I fully understand the nature of the job. In such circumstances the staff will try to do the level best but it all depends on the response of the treatment. Gradually there were signs of recovery but unfortunately the patient died of complications. One positive thing is that the relatives of the patient acknowledge the competence of the nurse- something very rare in this profession.

Review of The Veteran
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
A goo poem portraying the image of an old veteran. A reflection in the past when he was at the peak of his career living glorious moments in the battlefield. But it seems that the younger generation ignores him and is not interested in the past. Left on his own, the veteran just sits back memorising those old days. But in fact he should be considered as a cultural heritage

A new style of poem writing. Very concise and straightforward. It illustrates how a plant begins its journey from a small off shoot to grow into a big tree. it needs so many elements to become completely independent. Review of #yolo
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (4.0)
A short poem about life. It is a unique opportunity. So, it has to be lived fully. Be happy and enjoy every single moment seems to be the message. But like a coin it has also its reverse side. Here the poet exhorts the reader to disregard trivial matters and to avail oneself of opportunities in life. Let good things outweigh wicked ones.

Review of Two Little Leaves
Review by Boz
Rated: E | (3.5)
Interesting poem describing the itinerary of two leaves. Although they must fall they do not want to part from one another. But how can they control the forces of nature? When the wind blows each one goes its own way. One finishes its journey in the bin while the other one is luckier. It ends up in Sam's book. It gives the reader a perception about life. Everyone must live the world alone.
