I had visited your portfolio a while back and enjoyed my reading so here I am to visit again.
What I Thought About as I Read:

I thought about how sometimes the simple things, like a description of the outdoors, can bring back a flood of memories. I don't think kids see as much now, with their noses in computers. Sometimes, it should be time to just go outside and appreciate the world around.
Grandmas and Grandpas had a way of sharing their world with kids, that was memorable for a lot of us.
What I liked best when I grazed in your pasture and did I swish my tail?
I liked it all, especially this part:
"We’d wander down the path that she and Gramps loved to take.
Leaves were changing colors and looked ready to fall.
“Pretty soon, Jack Frost will be visiting us.” she would whisper."
Memories to treasure, to be sure. Thank you for sharing this, it brought back some memories of my own grandparents!
