Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |
| I had a quite a day. I got up early to vote in the provincial election. After I voted, I went to Tim Horton's for a coffee and crossiant. I went to the bank to find out if everything was taken care of yesterday. The man from yesterday regonized me and immediately came over to tell everything was okay. As I was leaving, another man at the bank asked me if he wanted him to get my online banking taken care of. We did. I then went to my boyfriend's parent's place for a meeting. |
| I went to the bank earlier today. I think we finally got my financial situation solved. I was almost in tears when I saw my bank account last night. I got a new tablet today. This one has a keyboard. I'm actually writing this blog entry with it. |
| I went to church today. It was Environment Sunday. It was also pot luck Sunday. After all the expenses were paid, the church raised a little over $2,000 at the Chicken BBQ Dinner on Friday night. Awesome. |
| I had a really good date with the boyfriend earlier today. We went to our favorite restaurant in Guelph. We both had fish and chips. While we were waiting for our dessert, a robin landed on the window beside our booth and just stared at us. It was an amazing site. I have never in my life saw a robin up that close. We drove around the city afterwards and saw a dance presentation at the Market Square. We also stopped at a gas station before coming home. My boyfriend or his mother bought me a medium coffee. I offered to pay, but they refused to take my money. I thought that was nice of them and I greatly appreciated. I blessed to have a boyfriend who thinks of me and his folks are nice too. |
| One more day until I get some money in the bank. I was watching the Jays game, but yet again, they're losing. Later, I'm going to play with my Playstation Vita |
| I woke up a little after 1 p.m. today. i had a really good 12 hour sleep last night. Man! I needed that. I sat outside this afternoon, drank my coffee and ate my brand muffin before I started writing. |
| Well, I was flip flopping at work today. I only got 78 adapters wrapped today. I was on Alcon for a short period of time in the afternoon. I know one thing for sure. I get to sleep in for two days. I been on the go since last Wednesday. I also think I got my OSDP all straighten out too today. |
| It was Trinity Sunday at church. Right up my alley since I end my prayers with the holy trinity. I'm now watching the Blue Jay game. They're winning 4-3 at the moment. |
| Yesterday, I wounded up 90 adapters. I went downtown after work. Earlier today, i went to my church's garage sale. Wasn't much there that I could use, however, I did get a coaster set for a dollar. |
