Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |
| The last five days were rather depressing ones. The last three days, we were plagued by bad weather. Freezing rain, Ice pellets. My boy friend and I had to cancel our date on Saturday. Didn't go to church on Sunday. I was supposed to go to work yesterday, but because of the bad weather, the work site was closed. There's still snow on the ground. I prayed for better weather soon. It's ridiculous. It is April 17th and we have snow on the ground. I hope my prayers will be answered. |
| I woke up today to find snow on the ground. That sucks. It's April 6th. Basically I'm stuck inside today. I think I'll order in tonight. |
| It loks as if I'm not going to work tomorrow either. It's 4:57 p.m. and no phone call. I'm watching the Tampa Bay Rays/Boston Red Sox game. David Price didn't really look good on the mound today. My Blue Jays are off. |
| I was suppose to go to a meeting, but plans were changed. We had to do it over the phone. Nobody at work called me so I guess there' no work for me tomorrow. |
| Woke up this morning and headed downtown to my new bank. Everything is all set up. I even said hello to the guy who set up my account. I went to Timmy's for a cinnamon roll and a coffee. I then bought a gift for a lady at my church that is turning 100 this month. |
| Last night for dinner, we had something different. My sister made both of us ribs. That's my boyfriend's favorite. It was good. Since it's Easter Monday, the banks are closed. I stayed home today. |
| I'm glad I decided to stay with my current church. I would've missed out on a beautiful service this morning. Four kids were confirmed on this Easter Sunday. I haven't been to a confirmation ceremony in 32 years. 32 years ago, it was my own, (confirmation). I was baptized that day too. We also had the sacrament of communion. The pastor had a good sermon too. |
| Man! A day with more writing to do. With the Blue Jays, the Maple Leafs both in action, I'm really busy. I got three more articles to write on another website. Got the Jays game on. Toronto just scored. It is 1-0 Jays. The Maple Leafs play later tonight. |
