Yesterday, I got some unsettling news.

I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day.

I also found out that we lost a job contract.

The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money.

I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone.

I woke up ill today.

My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight.

There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England.

Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured.

Not much going on around here.

The tai chi I've been doing for a week is working.

I've lost 1.4 lbs this week.

Yesterday at work, I did 166 adapters.

Last night, I got a check in the mail so today I went to the bank to deposited it.

I almost convinced France is going to win it all. The team defeated Belgum in the semi-finals today 1-0.

I think the World Cup has gotten me interested in soccer again.

I watch two MLS soccer games last night.

When I was six or seven, I loved soccer, but my dad turned me on to baseball and hockey.

I stopped watching soccer after that.

I wanted to get up early to watch the Sweden/England game, but I was too exhausted from yesterday.

I did, however, got to see a very good game between Russia and Croatia.

In two days, I did 326 adapters.

I did 180 yesterday.

Brazil was eliminated by Belgum in World Cup action.

My prediction, France is going to win it all.

I got up early to go with my worker, but she phoned and delayed the appointment to 3 p.m.

I got two mini fans at Dollarama. One for me and one for my sister.

We had McDonald's for dinner.

The humidity has gone down a bit, (THANK GOD!).

England won 2-1 in penalty kicks.

Didn't do much today.

My boyfriend got me out of the house last night to cool myself down from the sweltering heat.

Man! I wish we can get a good down pour of rain to cool things off.

I don't know how long I can handle the heat and humidity.

I watched another exiting World Cup soccer game between Belgum and Japan.

Belgum won the game 3-2 in stoppage time.

It is another hot one again today.

I had a wonderful lunch with my boyfriend earlier today.

We went to the Red Harp Pub.

It was wonderful.

The staff and service was great. Very friendly.

The food was fantastic.

The drinks came in a very tall glass.

We stayed long enough to watch Russia defeat Spain 2-1 in a penalty kick shoot out.
