Christ shall give you light. (Eph. 5:14)

The light we all need is the light of the Lord.
A light that shows you what you need to discern.
This light is in fact us viewing the world as He sees it.
His heart is to meet the needs of His creation, and in order for us to see this we have to seek His perspective to see the world in a different way. For example.

That homeless man you saw reaching out to you, and you fleeing in fear.
The Lord showing you the need in this man, and you reaching out to him instead as He enables.

"As He enables." We are not the provider of the need, He is and we are serving as His means to provide that need. We are asking the Lord to allow us to serve Him and see the world in a different way. When we do this that LIGHT does shine and we do indeed see the world differently.

So beloved; do you need a light? That small flicker of willingness to serve on our parts is all He needs. Miracles happen, lives change, planets continue spinning on their axis and through it all how we view what we see makes the difference.

Consider if you will the lightning bug. When you see it you know there is a God. Who else could create such a small yet awesome insect that makes us marvel and smile when we see the lights flashing all around. It's like a wonderland!

I can imagine the Lord seeing them and laughing and smiling, saying "oh those pretty little lights, would that my greatest of creations would desire even the smallest spark of that size, ah the things they would see."

The Daily Bread today has a prayer on the other side. Let us close with this as a prayer for seeking things through His eyes.

Dear Lord, give us the eyes to see the needs around us and the courage to do what we can to meet those needs.

Teach me Lord to be Your servant.
Every day there is so much turmoil.
At every turn there is a new obstacle.
Can there ever be a time when calm presides?
Hear me Lord, and teach me Your ways.

Make these hands, these feet, this mind Your instruments.
Engrave upon my every day Lord the desire to learn Your ways. Teach me, I pray.

Lift me Lord, up out of the muck and mire,
Open; oh Lord; my heart mind and desire.
Reveal to me Your will one-day-at-a-time.
Drive home the importance of serving You daily.

Teach me Lord, for You are the greatest of all teachers, and I seek Your teaching.

Help is available and because that is possible there is hope even in the worst of situations.
Every day the world sets their little mines and we inevitable step on them. How we react matters.
Let's say that you have to move quickly. You start looking, packing, and other essential things.
Plastered at the back of your mind is fear, doubt, skepticism, hopelessness, helplessness.

Help is available and the hope that negates two of the nagging fears is in the form of Jesus.

In the big scheme of things Jesus has said that He would never leave us or forsake us.
So that moving quickly matter is covered in the stresses of the day. Begin with prayer and confidence that Help Is available and watch the miracles that He is able to wrought.

What! Jesus is going to help us move? Get out of debt? Mend a relationship? Save us if we are still lost? Yes! It's really that simple. You see God loved us enough to send Jesus to the cross so that we might have unfettered fellowship with Him. We can enter the throne room of God knowing that Jesus is there interceding for us, when we are called a child of God, joint heirs with Jesus Christ. If we can enter into the throne room with confidence, we can overcome a move, a debt, a broken relationship, and anything else the devil shoots at us with such accuracy it would seem.

Part 2 we will look at the word "Available." What does it mean to us and how can we use it in our lives to face the day to day rat race that is sometimes life.
Until then you are reminded that you are important to God; therefore you are important to me.

Here in the world life is vicious, unforgiving, uncaring, and often driven by the bottom line. By way of contrast there is another part of the world that is caring, forgiving, loving, and often driven by the heart line. There is help in the world in which we live. There is help even when it looks like none is around. Come with me beloved and let us see where that help comes from.

This will be a multi-part series exploring the help that is available and the hope that is within our reach when we come to realize that we are not alone even in the darkest moments of our lives.

Jesus is our all-in-all.
Everyone does fall short.
Sort of the fellowship with God.
Unreachable, but now within reach.
Separated no longer, when we ask Jesus to forgive our sins.

Jesus is the equalizer.
Effort it did take, now the gap is closed.
Sealed by the blood of the Lamb, we are joint heirs.
Unwilling that any should perish for all eternity,
Salvation is provided for all on a hill far away.

Jesus is our all-in-all.
Etched upon His heart with each nail driven.
Severely beaten; nigh unto death; before this.
Undeniably how atrocious were these acts.
Scarred, battered, beaten, hung upon a cross for three hours.

Jesus slowly suffered, perishing with every breath.
Enveloping all with His love, His hands and feet,
Simply gave way from the damage inflicted.
Unable to hold on, and in the completeness of time, Jesus
Said, "It Is Finished!"

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus truly is our all-in-all. Amen and amen.

Do you believe this? Do you realize at last that we are but sinners and need a way to reconcile our relationship with God? Do you understand that this is an eternal decision that will be forever when we depart from this physical earth? Do you want to know more? Do you want to ask Him to be your Savior?
Jesus is the answer to all these questions and where you are right now in your Spiritual journey, is where He will meet you and bring peace that you seek. A peace that surpasses all understanding and remains even in the darkest hours of ones life. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus truly is our all-in-all!

Show me Your will today, tomorrow, and the following
days ahead.
Help me to follow Your will and to come into Your presence.
Open my eyes and help me to see that You are worthy.
Write upon my heart Lord the Word, not just any words Lord but Your Holy Word.

Show me Your Will Lord!

Open Your heart to the Lord and know that your life will never be the same again.
There will be troubles, toils, tribulations, trials, and even thorny rose bushes.
There will be doubts, fears, wonder, and other emotions that plague our humanity.
There will be joy, happiness, sadness, gladness, mourning and even morning.

Let's do these things together.
Remember that we are His children.
That we are going to face strong opposition.
That we are going to turn to Jesus as our shield.
That we will have times of tragedy, loss, and love too.
That we will have peace, stillness, quiet time with Him
That we will call Him Savior from this day forward.
That we will be alone, nay, never be alone again.
That we will hear the Lord's voice when we are able.
That we will hear His call upon our hearts and react.
That reaction will be to obey or to turn away.
That He will ask us to things that make us feel out-of-control.
That He will say "open your heart and let me in."
That's where I was at one time and I heard Him say and I said, "Yes Lord, forgive me of my sins. Let me open my heart to You, let me send my love to You through my service to Your will.
What will you do beloved when you hear, that still small voice say, "Open Says Me." What will you do when Jesus knocks on the door of your heart?
Open said He, and open I did, now I am set free.
How about you? Are you set free by the blood of Jesus or are you held captive in the quagmire that become life in this world?
Open Says Me! Because when you do this and the Lord begins leading you from this to that and back again, you will be a new creature, a new child of God and heir to the throne. Hallelujah!

You can do it!

No I can't!

You can make it!

No I can't!

You can achieve it!

No I can't!

You can succeed!

No I can't!

You can own it!

No I can't!

You can serve Him!

Okay, yes I can!

You can praise Him!

And I will!

You can entreat Him!

And I do!

You can seek and find Him!

Yes I've found Him!

You can do all things through Christ!

For He is my strength when I am so weak!

You can do His will in your life today!

And I will strive to do so, even if if fall!

You can repent and your sins are forgiven, as afar as the East is from the West!

And that's a long long way!

You must find your niche!

And where could that be?

You must ask and He will tell you!

Okay. I'm asking that, where is my niche?

You must wait and listen and He will answer!

I know He answers and I wait in earnest for one thing!

What is that?

That Rhonda will be healed of these horrid seizures once and for all!

Amen and amen.

"I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger. John 6:35
Dear Lord, may we always see You as He who gives life substance. Amen. Okay now that makes the last sentence below kind of weak. His food includes the healing Balm o f Gilead. Need some.

God loves you and I do too. Pain and pain and pain = a big ouch!

Change has to be a part of action taken by one or more for the greater good of the population.
If, however, change becomes detrimental to the people or to oneself, then there has to be a boldness to stand and stand again, for what one believes is the right way for him/her.
Here are some changes that are good for people from the beginning.
1. Quit smoking - by doing this the lungs have a chance of recovering and the one who has quit will find him/her self in better physical condition, which leads to more changes to improve upon.
2. Quit drinking alcoholic beverages - What some people call "vices" are in fact addictions that have gotten away from the user. The alcohol in beer, liquor, and other spirits, is able to destroy brain cells. The sensation of dullness, loss of inhibitions, slurring of speech are just a small sampling of the dangers to themselves and potential danger to the community at large.
3. Drink one less soda a day, and drink liquids between different beverage choices. By so doing the system has time to process the bad parts and redistribute vital nutrients essential in bringing a cure top peoples systems.

The list can go on and on, but to the point of this matter we must turn.
Change is good, as long as it does not break the law, or take advantage of other people. Change can give a person a sense of renewal and of hope. Change, what does it mean to you?
