I can tell that writing is very important to you. It is a creative outlet as well as a wonderful way to express emotions that are otherwise very hard to say. I like the simple message of your poem. It makes sense!!
Welcome to Writing.com and keep writing!

I might be a seasoned writer of poetry, but I have no clue how to improve this, yet something here is missing for me. I feel as if you are writing about the Virgin Mary. If I am wrong I want you to tell me. I see something beyond your words about faith and inner gifts. I think I am close to your meaning, but I honestly don't know. I know that is not the kind of review you are looking for, but it the best I can give you.
Thanks,
Michelle

I had to really laugh at the image of your friends being cows...okay maybe not your friends but the poeple around you. Sitting at a table with no food, doesen't sound like a good time to begin with. Is it pride that keeps you at the table or just plain foolishness? Very interesting thought pattern you have and thanks for sharing your visions.

I find this type of poem confusing. I try hard to get what a poem means, I want to feel and see and believe what I read. I want to incorporate your words into my mind and feel them. I got lost here and I am not sure why. Who is in the rat maze and why dose it feel like you are talking about Jesus and You at the same time? Any help you could provide would be awesome!
Thanks for sharing your talent!

I wonder why you think this is a spirtual evil and not just a mental illness? I ask that question because I can really feel something profound in your words. With not many words you show off something that is very haunting. Scary for sure to think about, you wanting to end it all. I always fear death of any kind.

Thank you for a wonderful descriptive and intense poem of questions. How much is too much love? I think you can love someone for all the wrong reason's. I do feel this is certainly a one sided love affair. It sounds like the one you love, will never love you in return in an honest way. It is a painful love you are better to get away from then stay with. Thanks for the intense poem!
Welcome to Writing.com and keep writing with your soul!

It was the tiny spoon that gave it away. I am not an addict nor do I condone it. I just feel it in your words. Wonderful mind imagery and intense emotional tourmoil gave it away. You might be confused but I know doubt you know exactly what you are doing with the drugs of choice.
Intersting!

Thank you for sharing your heart and love with Writing.com. I think your opening line is old fashioned and yet it reminds us that sometimes life is sweet and gentle. Your poem flowed well and had great emotions and I like that! A 5 star for that!
Write on and keep sharing your talent!

This too shall pass and you will have a seven year old and you will think, what did I do when he was 4 that he won't listen to me now? You see each stage of development builds and we have to know your child. I so enjoy reading your parenting skills, but doing and reading are so different! I always tell my kids, I will be the reason they will be in therapy one day! LOL

Michelle

I am laughing out loud and you know what I agree!!!!! I totally believe that we will see a change in the nursey scene. I remember when I was little visiting my grandma, I couldn't understand why it was so quiet and still. Now I think of our generation of kids and they would never allow that! Even the worker's have a sense of humor!! Which you need!! Thanks girl friend and what is your favorite gum?
I Love Spearmint!

After the death of my parents, I learned that living is what it is all about and grief is a very important part of life! When my dad was dying, he told me he was going to miss me. It was one of the greatest conversations we ever had. It was our last. I do agree that we as a society need to change the way we see death. We need to know that the heart lives on forever and that it is all a stage we must endure. Your advice is well taken with me. Thank you so much for sharing!!
The emotional writing and your personal experience in this book is beyond my scope of talent. I am in awe of you as a person but as a writer, you bring your world alive in your descriptions. The content of each chapter brings us closer to your parents and the situation you found your heart in. My hugs and love go out to you and all your family!!
Hugs,
Michelle

Your writing is so haunting. It pulls you in and you have to read it. Oh my heart breaks for you and this real story. I know I was very lucky to have older siblings take on this role. I can so relate and I am honored to be reading your book today. It is Judy's day and I will enjoy spending time getting to read about your strength and courage!

Without even reading the book, I know I would love it! It is so "politically" incorrect! I wouldn't help but find it humurous! I think Author's have to be willing to sell themselves. You have to say, hey this is who I am and this is where the zany muse lives! Great job and I wish you a ton of success here at writing.com and in the market place!
Keep writing!!

What I love best about WDC is the pure variety of writing and what I learn from everyone. I hope someday I will have put in as many years as you and that my writing will still be effective and getting a response! 2002...seesms so long ago!
Thank you for using the prompts in the "Invalid Item"
This is a creative use of three words as the world spins around and I love that whole image of being bound by foot by not by mind! Great job and good luck in the contest!

Wherever it may lead...is such a wonderful place. It means that it is away from now. I see such a survivior in your strong words and image. I know so many could relate to this strong message of growing stronger than the pain. It is only in pain that we do grow the most!
Thank you for sharing your talent! Iam in awe of your success with words!

Isn't it amazing when we discover what we are all about! When we really start to see what it is about and not about what was! So much potential and freedom and chasing of fairies in the garden and blowing with the wind! I love to think of myself as this free as well. Love is a great place to start!

I have been here, swimming in my own pool of foolishness and desire's. I can feel so much internal stirring of the soul! Is our own beauty ever seen by other's? I found this to be emotional and real. I could have wrote this myself!
Thank you and I am really enjoying my time in your port!
Hugs,
Michelle

You are amazing! That you can put yourself in these shoes and write from a perspective that I know is not your personal own, holy cow if I didn't know you...I would swear you did this in real life! Wow is all I can think to say!
Honestly you have talent! Your words mean so much and you can say so much with the words you choose! Honest is hard to come by but something I try to strive for in all I do. I want to know as someone who can be honest and give honest of my time and my heart. No wonder I love your work so much! I feel at home here!
Hugs,
Michelle

I always find that Earl's Author Spotlight is a great place to find variety of writing, but what I really enjoyed was learning more about you. It is funny how we all can remember our humble beginnings!
Yes, you are a writer and so much more!
Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day!

I love Thanksgiving and I have for ever. I was born on Thanksgiving day and al though I only get to celebrate that day of Thanksgiving and birthday every seven years, I love it anyway! I enjoyed your little history lesson and so wish we could have kept our respect of the Indians. They knew America much more than the "white man".
Great writing! 5 star all the way!
