Your desktop sounds and looks a lot like mine today. Minus the empty cup! I admire you for writing your goals down for the year and placing them so you can find then next week and the next month, as long as you don't delete this! Writing and finishing is a big deal, are we ever finished? I have a book at the publishing house now and it has taken me almost 4 years to get it to print, No time like the present!!

The pain of breakup and hurt. Yes, all good poetry must come from a broken heart. I think you could shorten this poem up and you have a typo with may..all paths lead to dark pits. You really have enough material to make several poems. It is great to find peace at the end of a broken heart! Good for you!!

I had to really laugh at the image of your friends being cows...okay maybe not your friends but the poeple around you. Sitting at a table with no food, doesen't sound like a good time to begin with. Is it pride that keeps you at the table or just plain foolishness? Very interesting thought pattern you have and thanks for sharing your visions.

I find this type of poem confusing. I try hard to get what a poem means, I want to feel and see and believe what I read. I want to incorporate your words into my mind and feel them. I got lost here and I am not sure why. Who is in the rat maze and why dose it feel like you are talking about Jesus and You at the same time? Any help you could provide would be awesome!

I wonder why you think this is a spirtual evil and not just a mental illness? I ask that question because I can really feel something profound in your words. I do feel this is certainly a one sided love affair. It sounds like the one you love, will never love you in return in an honest way. This too shall pass and you will have a seven year old and you will think, what did I do when he was 4 that he won't listen to me now? You see each stage of development builds and we have to know your child. I so enjoy reading your parenting skills, but doing and reading are so different! I always tell my kids, I will be the reason they will be in therapy one day! LOL

I am laughing out loud and you know what I agree!!!!! I totally believe that we will see a change in the nursey scene. I remember when I was little visiting my grandma, I couldn't understand why it was so quiet and still. Now I think of our generation of kids and they would never allow that! After the death of my parents, I learned that living is what it is all about and grief is a very important part of life! When my dad was dying, he told me he was going to miss me. It was one of the greatest conversations we ever had. It was our last. I do agree that we as a society need to change the way we see death. We need to know that the heart lives on forever and that it is all a stage we must endure. Your advice is well taken with me. Thank you so much for sharing!!
The emotional writing and your personal experience in this book is beyond my scope of talent. I am in awe of you as a person but as a writer, you bring your world alive in your descriptions.
