I love a poem that can show me what the writer is feeling. What inspried the emotions. I get the image of the coffin, the death....The death of the person and the long relationship, the coldness of the one that made it happen, and then you leave it with such an ugly image of the worms. You can not mistake the emotions in this heart-pouring out poem. You say it right, when Love goes wrong, logic makes no sense and when we bleed from the cut of someone we used to love, we feel like we will bleed forever. We never really do. I am always amazed at how strong the mind and heart really are. The more we break, the stronger we learn to heal the next time. It's like every life lession is needed. Nice imagery and I do hope it is only imagery and not real blades, that stuff freaks me out!

I love a poem that can move me. I ended saying "This was beautiful" I could feel the greatness of the sky and the love that was meant to be shared. I think you open this poem with a very strong stanza, you set this up to set the emotions, I did however get lost in the second to last stanza. I don't know what happened, but I missed something. You go from having something to falling inside your head and not really saying what you mean, or if you do, I just can't keep up. Sorry. I missed the message. still the words are here, but they confused me. I wonder why you can't keep this going. It's like it has too many negatives going on to see the whole picture. I don't even think I am being helpful with my feedback. Sorry. I am glad you plugged it. It gave me something interesting to read.

I feel like I should be saying...Good Luck! I can't imagine finding that one tear in the ocean. I love how expanding on the size of the ocean makes the feelings of your emotions so incredible. I read so much poetry, that I have to stop myself when I am reading lyrics and let the flow of the words wash over me, I also have to read it several times to see if I would sing it. I would sing the verses..I like how they rhyme. Not sure exactly what the first stanza is about, but I so understand the we don't talk like we used too. I have been there and done that! *Smile*

I have never known what keeps poetry from being lyrics or vice versa. I have to say, I could sing this song and feel it's emotions. To me that is what makes a great song. Is it relateable? Yes! I think everyone has wanted the one that won't notice, the ex or the new friend, whatever it is...It's real and hard to give up. Keep writing from your heart. I like the beat!

I find this a very interesting poem. In many way it is a contridiction of life. In or out...Don't we always want what we don't already have? I love the image of life being beyond the planets, but so much of it is lived right here and now. If we are lucky we are living with our eyes open. If not, we don't want to die with regrets. Do we take another chance of life? I sure hope so! I don't ever want to give up and I love the image of the sky being endless with love. Wow that rocks! Oh I have been here. I have been so depressed, others never even knew. I kept my secret or lie as you like to say and I hide it. I had no choice, like you write and say, we do it for others when we can't find the way to do it for ourself. I loved the flow and emotions behind this. It is real. It is something I think many could find inside. I don't know, for me I couldn't wait for people to call me out on it. I love the image of people passing by like clouds, when joined we can create a storm or a gentle breeze but to see us crying...now that takes talent and vision. I get it. I think the only thing I would correct with this poem is your spacing and either add more puntucation or delete the commas that you do have. It would improve the over-all vision of the poem and create better flow, like the clouds....smooth.

Wow you were not kidding about this poll. I wanted to vote You Americans are crazy, but then I realized I was one. I agree I am crazy, but not over politics or religion. I really try to hide away from this kind of out and out hate. So sad to think this is here. You know what we forget is that hate was in the bible as well as love. This breaks my heart to read. I wish that a magic spell was made when every child was born and the mom was the keeper of the wand, and whenever our child needed it, we would get out our wand and cure their pain. I have a child that is mentally ill. He won't ever be cured unless some miracle is made. His pain is something he keeps deep inside. A darkness, I am not allowed to visit. I don't think we can ever measure a mothers love, however your words speak to my heart. I pray you and your child could find this magic place! You are in my prayers.

Love is a fickle little thing that is hard to understand. I have been married for 20 years. I thought I would always be "in-love" with my husband. I made a major mistake. One can not stay "in-love" without friendship and working the romantic and understanding part of love. It is never a one-way street and love should never be blamed for when things fall apart. It is so much more that makes a relationship. Love is what brings it together, everything else is what keeps it going. I admire the words and the emotions with this poem. Have you ever taken a ride in a hot air balloon? I haven't but I have it on my list of things to do! When you see a bunch of balloons all gathered together, they do look like flowers. I have never thought of that but after reading your poem, I agree! It makes me want to go to New Mexico when they host that large show and see thousands of balloons all at once. I went several years ago but only briefly, next time I want to spend more time and get a ride!! The image is a nice compliment to your poem. Nice touch! So is that enough praise for one day? *Wink*
