Review of Leave me now
Review by Boz
Rated: ASR | (4.0)
Well written poem reminiscent of the golden days of love. Feeling of nostalgia reminding me of my first love who is no longer here. Why should we love and then leave? The style seems a bit unusual. . There is iot enough details about the lover.

The author has his /her own way to express love through music. Just like Shakespeare pointed out
'' If music be the food of love give me the excess of it''. The poem displays the effect of music on love ,how it changes the heart of the listener. But inner feelings is mentioned superficially.

Review of Impure

Well written poem. It depicts a deep feeling of traumatism which the person must have undergone since the very tender age. Indeed, it reveals a profound scar left on the victim. But we don't know the reason why there is so much bitterness in his / her life

A nice piece of work. It reminds of modern technology- the use of an alarm bell whenever something must be done. The king seems to be ruling the roost with his whistle. Even the queen has to obey his orders. The poem portrays dictatorship in modern times.

Review of Winter Colors
Review by Boz

A beautiful poem written to underline the importance of sunshine in human's life. It depicts how there is a sudden change in the winter season when the sun pierces the sky to make its appearance. It symbolises happiness and radiance The presence of the sun enhances the mood of individuals. But we do not see the other side of the medal since no comparison is made when the weather is bleak.

Very concise poem painting life after death. It makes travel into the world of the supernatural. Many elements of nature are blended to give it a ghastly image. The writer seems to have been inspired from horror films. However, there is no mention of the word ' ghost,' throughout the poem.

Review of Lonely Hearts
Review by Boz
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
Good piece of writing whereby the story repeats from mother to child. It is very sentimental from beginning to the end. Both Darwin and Samantha are in quest of love as they are sailing in the same boat. Here Darwin seems to assume his responsibility towards his girl friend . Unfortunately children have to pay the price for the errors committed by parents.. However, the story has an abrupt ending.

Review of Flickering Love

An escapism into the world of insects and the prevalent innocence. Just as human beings here also the butterfly encounters obstacles in love which are not easy to surmount. However, it struggles to be victorious but finally it succumbs. Well written but it needs some improvement regarding the feelings of the insect.

The writing reflects on the fidelity of the dog to its master. Even if he/she is being haunted by the animal it still forms an unalterable part of life. It accompanies its master during his insomnia. Even if the animal has become dangerous, the strong bond them prevents the owner to get rid of the pet. But I think more emphasis must be laid on the security side rather than the emotion.

This reflection is well- written with emphasis on greed. It conveys moralistic values about the effects of gold on humanity and men attempt to go beyond their means to acquire it. The addiction of the yellow metal is well depicted. However, it lacks precision about what are the destructive impacts the life of human beings.

After reading this piece I assume that it is based on science fiction. The description is good but at times it does not seem to be related with the subject. Certain explanations appear absurd and devoid of meaning.
