"See, what I'm looking for is a way to better understand a friend."
Nick didn't quite know how to better phrase nor did he know what telling this goat lady about it would do. But he was always a fairly good judge of people and he was getting good vibes from Stephanie, as imposing as she was. She seemed to genuinely want to help him and there was a mysterious air about her intentions. Like she might not give him exactly what he expected but still something that he needed.
"Of course," Stephanie said with a smile. "But are we talking about a friend or a friend?"
"Hah, I'm not sure she feels the same way and that's sort of the problem."
"Ah, matters of the heart then. Well, we have just the thing for that too."
Stephanie left the counter for the back of her shop, but still called out to Nick as she worked, looking for the perfect item to suit his fancy.
"So, tell me about this girl. Is she a cute vixen?"
"Ah," Nick said, wondering if he was really about to open up like this to a complete stranger. "Well, for starters she probably wouldn't appreciate being called cute. She's a bunny, see."
"A rabbit? How interesting...Well, you're in luck Mister Wilde. I have just the thing to help with your little problem."
