Nick was taken aback for a moment at what Stephanie had revealed as, at first, it almost looked like a dead body until he took a closer look at it. It was a mass of fur that appeared to be someone's skin. He noticed a pair of long ears like a rabbit's too, as Stephanie held up the face to reveal it had empty eye sockets and a gaping mouth with two buck teeth on the top.
"Have you ever heard of spending a day in someone else's skin?" Stephanie asked him. "Well, this will help you do it quite literally."
"That...That's a costume, right? You didn't just murder someone in the back, did you?"
"Of course not! This is a top of the line disguise tool that lets the wearer feel like another species of mammal. All you have to do is strip down and put it on and let the magic happen."
She then offered it to Nick for him to inspect. It surprised him at just how warm and soft the wad of fur was, almost like it was a living and breathing creature in his paws.
"...Uh huh," he said after looking it over a few times. "Well, I don't think this is quite what I had in mind nor in my budget..."
"Well, it's a good thing I'm so confident in it that I'm willing to let you take a test drive in it for free."
She then gestured to the changing room right in the corner of the shop. Nick gulped as he began to feel rather intimidated next to the giant goat.
"I insist!" Stephanie said cheerily. "Just try it on and if you don't like it, I'll let you pick any item in the shop for free."
Nick couldn't turn down a deal like that, but he also couldn't help but wonder what he had walked into with this mysterious shop. Both the goat and the suit were giving him strange vibes as he stepped inside the booth and closed the curtains behind him. He then began stripping down just as requested by Stephanie.
"Just how am I supposed to get into this thing?" he asked, holding up the suit.
Now that he was closer to it, he was noticing just how small it was compared to his foxy form and the only hole large enough seemed to be the gaping mouth. It was strange but the suit almost seemed to change as he held it. Like it was recognizing his needs and slowly making slight alterations to itself. It was bizarre, but the more Nick looked at it, the more he realized that the suit kind of reminded him of...
