Marina had been studying the mystical arts for over a century but appeared no older than her early twenties. Life had been kind to Marina giving her beauty and a mind that found magic easy to master, so she began to find life sacred which is why she founded the Circle of the Enlightened. It was a collection of wizards dedicated to using magic to solve problems without killing. Helping the King would provide an excellent chance to prove the success of the Circle of the Enlightened. She had already decided to take on the might of the wizard Dreze as an added bonus of ridding the land of her evil former master.
Marina tied her long chestnut hair back and gathered items to use on her journey. She hated to drain the magic from so many items she had spent so long building and spending many a gold coin for ingrediants, but using items would conserve her energy for the fearsome battle she would have against Dreze when the time came. Marina gathered her various rings of changes and placing her necklace of protection around her neck. Soon she felt ready to start her journey.
