Marina decided to take the main road to the lands Dreze controlled because it would be easy travel and Dreze would likely expect travel by magic. Traveling on the road as a pilgrim gave her a chance to see the refugees fleeing the ravages of Dreze’s army. Few took notice of her as they were caught up in their own worries to take notice of anyone who wasn’t a threat. As soon as she passed from the sight Marina vanished from their minds replaced by the more real needs for food and shelter.
As Marina drew close to the advances of Dreze’s army she decided to pull off into the woods and come up with a disguise. Luckily a master of transformation magic has an easy time coming up with a disguise. She thought about becoming a horse at first because they were a common sight but too many people would try to catch her, so she decided to become a deer. A wood be able to maneuver the woods with ease and hunters would be few with an army on the march.
Her cloths and items vanished as Marina cast her spell leaving her naked to the night air. Sweat poured down her breasts as her heart raced to carry out the order to transform. Brown and white sprouted from her body pouring over her like a flash flood. Human features vanished as the spell manipulated her body into the shape of a white tailed deer. Large breasts became the sleek chest of a deer as her arms transformed into the legs and hooves that could speed her through the forest.
The deer that had been human took a moment to absorb her new surroundings. Marina had learned from experience that taking a moment to collect yourself and get used to your new for could save your life. Within a few minutes she was ready to continue her journey and her new legs carried her swiftly through the forest to her goal.
