| Mind is a tool for you to use in any way you wish. The way you now use your mind is only a habit, and habits, any habits, can be changed if we want to do so, or even if we only know it is possible to do so. Turn off the chatter in your head, and really think about the concept: YOUR MIND IS A TOOL YOU CAN CHOOSE TO USE ANY WAY YOU WISH. The thoughts you "choose" to think create the experiences you have. If you believe that it is hard to change a habit, or a thought, then your choice of that thought will make it true for you. If you choose to think, "It is becoming easier for me to make changes", then your choice of this thought will make that true for you. We are all in search of our souls, It’s the journey to get there that makes the trip so worthwhile. And the great thing is we get to make it worthwhile through love, harmony, tranquility, joy and happiness. It’s all there at your fingertips. Grab the fruit from the vine and sink your teeth into the ripe nectar! |
| Thoughts of she give to me, feelings that have so much grandeur. With warmth and tenderness she brings flame to my heart, with candor! Nectar of sweetness she emits, without so much as thought of self. Kind words with gentle touch and smile, add honey to her mixture. Her face and eyes, with words so soft, give solace from soul within her. Lending power to me, so I may see the warm candlelight she does tinder. The sound of she urges my search, to capture with heart her woman! Her passion allures me on to ask, “ Is this of your own volition?” Or have we both been brought here now to love in our own transition? The bliss in her transforms me, and makes me so much fonder! Constructing thoughts, my spot on earth, is nothing here without her. The mystery she brings to me, is grace down to its marrow. As my days move on, the world has found, my light with much less sorrow! The glee to be, of she and me, is passion with no measure. What I know, is she is free, to grow in grandeur with such pleasure. I beg, hope, and pray, that she, have love, peace, and glory, without much pay for the piper. For the piper can play both night and day, then say with no meander, that she is she, and here am I, her knight lacking his armor. For I can be, protection for she, as man alone I ponder. she lends to me the strength of all, so I may be my man. To forge ahead, a brand new day, with her hand in mine is grand, Fitting for her, royalty she is, with a touch of love forever! |
| Sometimes we give so much credence to our thoughts and inner feelings that we forget our lives are in the now, this second, and this minute, this month and year. Living a satisfying life in the now is a challenge for most, for sure, for me, but I know it can be done with love and care. I learned years ago, to say what is in my heart, because there may never be another chance. That is exactly why I give affection. |
| I have prayed for strength in what happens. Unfortunate events will pass, but not if we choose to put ourself into their path. We have to cut a place for ourselves in today’s world. Live your life on this earth with the satisfaction of knowing we have done our best tailoring. |
I know that is so easy to say life affirming things. The real test is to actually adopt these insights. We must convince ourselves that these ideas are beneficial and will bring a better existence; pursuit of happiness right . When we have hard times in our lives, be they emotional, financial, physical, etc. It seems impossible to remember and follow these insights. You have to start making these thoughts part of your life. By making them second nature to you, you call upon them much more readily for support and affirmation in yourself. Put it into the perspective it deserves, and see it in a different light. See it as a light of learning instead of the aching grief. Sounds foolish, but when the decision to do it is made, there comes with it great empowerment. You will feel dynamic . |
| I know that things are easy to say, and completely different when actually done, but being aware of the magic of the moment makes doing much more enjoyable. Forget about the past, the worries and anguish. Forget about the future, it is going to happen regardless. Think about NOW, this moment. There is nothing wrong at this very moment, is there? Living your life in the NOW is empowering. It gives you control and command of YOU! This is some of the stuff that is being rekindled in me. Thinking about tomorrow, next week, month or year takes you away from NOW and in most cases provokes anxiety. |
| As one day merges with the next the thought of tomorrow is pondered. The impact of what is happening now is paramount. Having control of the happenings brings stability. There are times when control is out of our hands, and we must react and not initiate. Our reaction is, and always will be, ours and ours alone. Regardless of what happens in our lives, we are the masters of it's impact. They can take my castle and goods, but they can never take me. I am the only one who can possess me. Of the entire world, and all the thoughts and deed’s from moment to moment, yours and mine are unique. We must be true to ourselves to be happy. Sometimes that happiness is shrouded with confusion. Mulling through that confusion at times gives us growth. Growth comes also through crystal clear happenings. At times there is a fine balance, at times the pendulum is far to the left or right. Wherever the pendulum, we are in control of the impact. Live and let live is so sound in its concept. On occasion I am baffled by its simplicity. The impact of another’s life on our own, can nurture the dead to life, and the lame to health. |
| Genetics and environment have a push pull relationship; you can't have one without the other. The degree of importance and prominence in our lives we give one or the other, both being genetic and environmental forces, is decided by both our will to choose and the encoding we possess in our DNA. Our ability to choose is more often than not drawn to specific conclusions as a result of innate behavior; genetics. As we age we become what we make ourselves to be. With that comes stewardship of our lives. So I believe that with the attainment of age our being is more seventy five percent environment, and twenty five percent genetic, due to living life over an extended amount of time past early adulthood years; environment. So I see it as fifty fifty in our early years, and when we reach adulthood the pendulum swings more toward the environmental consequences of what makes up each of our personas. Free Will is really the crux of the matter because regardless of genetics and environment we always have the choice, which always has the ability to fly into the face of decision. As for the relationship between genetics and free will I believe that one may be stronger than the other at times and vice versa, as well as both retaining the same force to manifest action in our daily lives. We are made up of the wonders of life, on a magical journey, mixed together with portions of all who have come before us. |
