A fully garbed warrior, in armour from his feet up past his brow.

Waves a sign above his head; there's desperate want to see its scrawl.

The message clearly posted says those worries lifeless; still past death enshroud.

The mental, barron, metal cage, worries gage, enhance the battle worrys wage.

Worried over worries, I have yet had, heard, or seen.

Feeling for things that have yet run through my head by me.

Worry of things long past, living life from scrolls long dead; reamed rhyme openly seen.

Are these worry thoughts forever more, each passing night unsaid?

Whirlwind swerving, grasping, twirling, grabbing, what I'd once known I’d seen.

Worries compounded year past year, corroded shreaded hope; truth is faith's fine deed.

Hammering pounding once again, worries unseen, sure to hurl grief in guarantee,

Another smothering worry stone, crowding traveled grounds I've known; forced in glee to flee.

This Old Couch

You wouldn't believe the story this couch I sit on has to say.
Of love and loss, countless times, day after night, and after day.

The tears that have dripped on its fabric these many years.
Countless many have lived life, and died, through it's tearful rave.

Always open for rest upon its cushined frame,
To calm both weary, dark barron nights, and sunlit days.

Value For All

"For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."

That reading from John has an important message for all. Truth is in the Light. Truth, I'm sure you've heard, “will set you free". So ones personal conviction concerning the value of truth, and the Devine nobility it insures, is desired by those who value Light over darkness.

Each individual’s conviction concerning the Divinity of the Light, is of paramount importance when communicating with each other. Only when a person displays their demeanor as loving; with a desire to be of service, in and of the Light, does enlightenment occur.

Proverbs 29:25

"The fear of people bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth their trust in the LORD shall be safe."

The creation of the heavens and the earth, including both you and me, with everyone before us, as well as all to follow in our path, is of God. A God that is infinitely knowing. A God aware of everyone of us, down to the amount of hairs on each of our heads. A God of infinite love and caring. A God of such amazing love for us He sent to us His Son Jesus. Through His Mother Mary; flesh and blood like us all. The Son of God, His only Son, to redeam us, and be our direct connection to the Father; the creator of the infinite, down to even the smallest microcosm, of the past, future, and the now; our moments.

- Shea

"Whether you accept or reject it, God's Love for you is permanent. After God has forgiven me, granted me His Compassion and showered His Blessings upon me, then I have to feel at every moment God's Love. I have to feel at every moment God's Love. I have to feel that the One who has forgiven me, shown me His Compassion and blessed me, really cares for me. If I feel that God really loves me, then only can I have true and abiding happiness. The Creator is all love for His creation. But the creation quite often does not feel it or realize it. Since I am part of God's creation, it is my bounded duty to feel God's Love at every moment. Only then will I try to become good, divine and perfect, and please Him in His own way."

- Sri Chinmoy

To find out what you love to do demands a great deal of intelligence; because, if you are afraid of not being able to earn a livelihood, or of not fitting into this rotten society, then you will never find out. But, if you are not frightened, if you refuse to be pushed into the groove of tradition by your parents, by your teachers, by the superficial demands of society, then there is a possibility of discovering what it is you really love to do. So, to discover, there must be no fear of not surviving.

Thoughtfulness is the beginning of great sanctity. If you learn this art of being thoughtful, you will become more and more Christlike, for His heart was meek and always thought of others.

A Few Words of Love

In wondering majestic thought of what she once did say.
Eagar in gratitude; her words of wisdom light my way.
Immersed in grace, Loving care kindles hope commanding rhyme.
Her awe filled, brilliant, beauty, illuminates she to shine.

On our walkway a path cut clear, sure footed, bright, and fine.
In tender, quiet manner, her goddess slender frame Devine.
Her kind, tender, coaxing sings, soft songs of praise refined.
Her sweet words entrench deep in my heart, Aphrodite’s vine.

No one but her could conjure words, so beautiful and kind.
Her sweet shy tone of crystal clearness, sooths this longing mind.
Manners of Love not seen before; Gods creature, she’s Devine.
Those words will soon gently roll from her tender lips to mine.

Release to her my heart beats; gentle caring softly scored.
Her deep, gorgeous eyes, urge my walk that thousandth mile once more.
My hearts mad running sprint, slowed to a walking easeful stroll.
Surrender to her heart; catch countless thanks down from above.

Always she is a goddess throne forever in my mind;
Her calm special thoughts forever stored, hand in hand, with mine.

In this magic space, what I had longed for since first we met,
Those mighty healing words, she drew me close and whispered it;

“I love you.”

Through violence you may murder a murderer, but you can't murder murder. Through violence you may murder a liar, but you can't establish truth. Through violence you may murder a hater, but you can't murder hate. Darkness cannot put out darkness. Only light can do that.... Difficult and painful as it is, we must walk on in the days ahead with an audacious faith in the future. When our days become dreary with low-hovering clouds of despair, and when our nights become darker than a thousand midnights, let us remember that there is a creative force in this universe, working to pull down the gigantic mountains of evil, a power that is able to make a way out of no way and transform dark yesterdays into bright tomorrows. Let us realize the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.

Martin Luther King Jr

"There comes a time in the seeker's life when he discovers that he is at once the lover and the beloved. The aspiring soul which he embodies is the lover in him. And the transcendental Self which he reveals from within is his Beloved."
