Review of Harm None
Review by MDuci

Hello Kimchi-SoulFood,

Your port is filled with some of the
most delectable morsels I've ever eaten.

I love this little garden of wisdom and
delightful advice for every age.

Your greens are some of the tenderest I've
come across and the Kimchee is some of the
best stir-fried. I truly love your little
words to the wise. These are some very wise
words:

"If you're unhappy you should take care of your health,
for what's inside your mind's more powerful than wealth."

Thank you my friend for the sweet note and
congratulations, and you'll never know how
much I appreciate it.

Sincerely
Marlena

Hello Marieart,

Through you, your sister sounds like she is
doing a great battle for her life with the
dreaded one. This is a battle that one must
be strong and fight with all their mind and
spirit.

We have had several in my family who
have fought and won, and those who gave it all
they had but just couldn't continue, but they
are still with us, and deep with in our hearts.

My heart goes out to you and your family for
watching the pain of a love one can be so hurtful,
and you were right, pink is okay but I think the
color is better in Red, a true sign of strength.
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful story
in such a loving way, she is I'm sure so happy to have you for a sister.

Hello Marcia,

Isn't funny, how looking at old pictures can bring

back memories we thought were long forgotten or never

thought of period. I liked your story very much and

it brought up a few of those old lost memories from

my girl hood day's and the stories I remembered that

were forgotten or lost, until your story brought them

back. Your two main characters Ruby and Pearl make me

think of two of my aunts who never could see eye to

eye about anything. Thank you for sharing and I'll

be dropping by again very soon.

Hello Vixx,

Lovely poem, filled with wonderful

visuals, and vivid images. You let

me see the sand as it, is moving up

covering his knees, and I can see his

hand as it reaches out to take that

of the one he loves, asking for faith,

and trust. Thank you for sharing and

Review of JACOB'S LADDER
Review by MDuci
Rated: E | (5.0)
Hello Poppa,

You really know how to bring some tears into
one's eyes. I have a little Jacob or two in my
life, and sometimes it hurts us more then them,
to see them take so many parental falls. You've
done the right thing and secured that ladder.

Every line was beautiful, and the image was so
vivid I could see Jacob, in his roll and doing
what must come naturally! Walking in Poppa's foot-
steps.

Great piece! And I hope you and the wife are staying
warm.

Happy New Judity,

Hope all your New Year wishes come true.
Sorry I've not been over for awhile, I do
look at least once a week to see if you've
added any more chapters to ‘Home of the Grey Dog’
my very favorite series of all times.

I was surprised to see that I hadn't read
this version of all about you, I could have
sworn I had, but not according to the system.

Anyway it is of course wonderful, and very
informative on your likes and dislikes, and
as far as I'm concerned you should be writing
for CSI, the series. I hate to tell you but
they just knocked me off with all the CSI's.
But of my favorites I like 'Crime Scene Investigation,' the best too. But my all, and all
is A Monk, of course. Thanks for sharing J.B. and I look forward to seeing more on the 'Home of the Grey Dog.'

Hello Arminah,

I pray that this is just something that you
are going through for just a little while,
and that like all hardships it too will pass
away. Then you'll feel the sunshine touch your
face, and feel your life renewed.

Your poem was touching and my heart goes out to you, hold on with all your might, life will get better you'll see. Thank you for sharing and welcome to Writing.Com. Keep writing and pouring out on paper all that you are feeling. It help's to know that their others out there who hears you and listens, we are here.

There are just a few typos, which can easily be fixed:

Slipping (of) the edge, (off)
I wish that all this horror (goes) away. (would)
It is a (whitle) line. (white)

Hello Sandra,

What a little sweetheart of a poem,
and how right you are about today,
tomorrow and everyday. The world
wouldn't be anything with out the stage and
all its actors. We must continue
the run, as the ‘World Turns’ (no pun intended).

Thank you for sharing, very well written

Hello Elisa,

Very good poll, and a very significant one I might

add. I must read aloud all my poetry or free verse,

and like wise I do the same with all the reviews I

do. I've tried to read them to myself and it never

has the same feel or meter. If I don't read them aloud

the ratings would not be fair. Thanks so much for

the poll and I hope you're enjoying your New Year!

Hello Kimchi,

You keep writing, I'll keep reading.

This one is so beautiful and spirit

filled, If I listen very closely I

can hear the song and all it's beautiful

meaning right here in my head and heart.

These lines held me captive:

'We have come to drink of knowledge, and the language of the stars
and our future's flowing brightly from our dreams.
As our blessings ripple out to heal the ones who need it most-
the negativities release, release, release.'

I love it each and every line. Thank you so much for

sharing.

Hello Kimchi,

This delectable meal has been served many,

many times here on Writing.Com, but never has

it been served the same way twice. That is what

makes this wonderful buffet so addicting.

And just when you think you are filled up to the

neck with the delightful menu, here comes the desert.

I must say that your filling in the cake was one of

the sweetest I've tasted in quite sometime.

Thank you for the dish and welcome to Writing.Com.

Hi Kiya,

Once again you've done a splendid job of story

telling. I've always been a fan of your stories

and this one was no exception to being a Kiya

fan.

I like the idea of showing this main character’s

insecure actions, until he finds out she is responding

to how he went about the break-up, after which he can

feel secure in turning away. Great little story and I

can see the relationship to Enya's CD – ‘A Day Without

Rain.’ Truly enjoyed this one even though I felt

sad, and hurt for Kathy. Keep them coming Kiya.

Dear Lexi,

The impression I got from this beautiful
poem, brought such a magnitude of tears
to my eyes, and a pain that only a mother
who has lost a child can know and feel.

Your last line was all to knowing and I'll
remember these words forever.

'Precious little baby boy in womb
Now lies buried by my tears in his tomb.'

Thank you so much for sharing and I felt this
with in the deepest part of my heart.

Review of Where Did I Go?
Review by MDuci

Hello Cubby,

What a delightful little darling! Each

line brought laughter from my stomach.

I remember a line from my 82 year old

mother in-law who once said to me, that

the only time she knew she was getting

older was when she passed a mirror. I

laughed then, but I now understand what she

meant, when my five year old grand-daughter

asked me yesterday while looking through some

old albums; "whose this girl grandma," when I

told her that 18 year old was me, I got

a raised eyebrow! Nothing more, of course to me

I still look the same, but children won't lie

*Laugh*. Thanks for sharing and I'll come to visit

again real soon.

Hello Harshal,

What a little sweetie,

I like that it was short

but filled with some very

cute images, and even brought

out your sketches. very nicely

done.

Only one little suggestion and

that would be to place these words

on their own line:

'in search of my stolen heart.'

Review of Open Book
Review by MDuci

Hello Chrissy,

Lovely poem, it captured my imagination and
held me from the first line. I only have a
few suggestions which you can take or leave,
and that is to enlarge the writing a bit and
to make line breaks.

For example:
'It's time I look,
into the open book
I now am brave enough to read.

Drinking in each line,
redeeming the time,
that was lost; now I'm relieved.
Of all the stares'

Overall beautiful read*Smile*. Thank you
