The man had his hand on his sword and for a second Dauphin had to mentally prepare herself for a fight. But one of the other men at the bar intervened.
"Would you really fight a woman? Hardly very gentleman like is it?"
"What are you calling me?" the first man replied.
"I'm just saying why pick on a defenceless girl. It'd hardly be fair to send her out into the night alone, would it?" the other man responded.
"Okay, you can stay for now," the man said looking at Dauphin once again. "However you - outside," he said to the other man, withdrawing his sword.
Dauphin watched as both men moved towards the door. The second man had got into a fight by trying to protect her, so surely she had to do something to help.
"Don't follow them girl. Makarin knows what he's doing," the barman advised.
Dauphin threw caution to the winds and followed outside to where the fight was about to begin.
"Go back inside. I can handle this," the man she now knew as Makarin told her.
"Can you handle them as well?" Dauphin asked, as another five men came out of the street to join the original agressor.
