Another fight

Dauphin stood aside to allow whatever macho pride Makarin had to remain undented for a while at least. But she would be ready for if and when he was forced to admit he needed her help after all.

The men were an unruly mob, rather than trained agents with a purpose and were easily seen off by Makarin's skill with a sword.

"Drink?" Makarin asked Dauphin.
