Splitting up during their teleportation, the shrunken Three Marine Stooges found themselves on the tiled floor in a giant room filled with books within the Thousand Sunny. The circular room contains numerous bookshelves, windows, and a bench encircling the whole room.
The three took in their surroundings, realizing they were in a library based on how many books they saw. Sharper notices the other three aren’t with them and informs his two friends.
"Oh dear, this is not good." Petire said, scratching his bald head. “Seems we got separated.”
“Aww man, we always ended up in a dangerous situation." Sharper whines. “And shrunken no less.”
“Perfect for your part, bug boy.” Ralph sarcastically said that Sharper’s Devil Fruit powers are basically summoning and morphing his body parts into a swarm of insects.
“W-Well yeah…b-but not like this! I don’t wanna get stepped on!”
“Oh relax, Sharper, as long as ya train your Haki, you should be fine…” Petire leans a bit close to Sharper. “...you did train, did you?”
“...a little.” Sharper sheepishly said before he was pinched and tugged.
“A LITTLE!? You no good slacker! I told you to train your Haki no matter what and you call yourself a Marine and, to an extent, a NanoCorp!”
“B-B-But Ralph-ow!-slack off more than me-ow!” Sharper said while accusing Ralph which he simply shrugged.
“True. The dumbass is lazier than you, but, shockingly, he learned Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki really well. You, on the other hand, are still struggling with the Busoshoku Haki!” Petire scolded him before letting him go.
“Yes, sir. I’ll do better next time…” Sharper groans and grumbles as he rubs his swollen cheek before Ralph speaks up.
“Anyway, let’s start climbing that ladder over there.” Ralph pointed at the giant ladder that led upward to another area. “Our bosses and Scar might be up there, who knows.”
“Hmm. It is worth a shot, let’s move, you blockheads.”
The three make their way to the giant ladder to climb up and due to its sheer size, it could take them hours, if not days, to reach the top. Luckily, the Marines are prepared for this thanks to their training and Devil Fruit powers. Ralph’s Misuto Misuto no Mi, or Mist Mist Fruit, allows him to transform into a mist and glide at a wide range but he cannot fly. Sharper’s Mure Mure no Mi, or Swarm Swarm Fruit, allows him to morph into a swarm of insects and fly without problem. Petire, while possessing the strong Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Armored Wyvern Devil Fruit, relies on his abilities rather than using his fruit's power cause, in his words,'felt like cheating for towards the others'.
The Three Marine Stooges had just reached the base of a giant ladder when they heard footsteps above them. They looked up and saw a huge presence about to climb down the ladder towards them. Petire and Ralph used the Kenbunshoku Haki to see what it was and confirmed the presence to be gigantic.
“Oh, crap. You see that, Petire?” Ralph asked him.
“Yeah, and it is pretty huge whoever this is. Quickly, boyos, move to the side of the ladder!”
The two marines run towards safety while Sharper tries to identify who is approaching them. Petire yells at him to come over, startling him. Sharper attempts to run towards Petire and the other marine, but a loud female voice stops him in his tracks. The timid marine quickly looks up and sees a colossal woman descending from a ladder at a rather fast pace. Her giant orange sandal is about to land near him, and he is terrified. Sharper quickly morphs into a swarm of flying insects and scatters away before the sandal makes contact with the floor, creating a loud boom that shakes the ground beneath the marines' feet and echoes in their ears.
Petire, who was relieved that Sharper had managed to escape his imminent death, looked up at the towering woman in front of him, hoping to get a better look at her. She appeared to be quite attractive, with long orange hair and eyes that matched the color of her hair. She was dressed in a revealing green and white bikini top, a pair of tight blue jeans, and orange high-heeled sandals that nearly crushed Sharper as she walked by, creating booming steps along the way. As Petire and Ralph watched the woman make her way to a desk, they had a strange feeling that they had seen her before as she emerged from their safe spot.
“...Hey, Petire.” Ralph spoke up.
“Yes?” Petire respond.
“Does she look familiar to you?”
“Yep, very familiar. In fact...she belongs in a pirate crew, a famous one to be precise.” Petire rubs his chin slowly as he thinks until he remembers the name of the pirate crew. “Wait! I think I know who they are, The Straw Hat Pirates!”
“Oh yeah, that’s right...and if I remember correctly…that giant woman we just saw is...the ‘Cat Burglar‘ Nami, right?”
“Yes! So that means…we’re on the Straw Hat Pirates’ ship! Not to mention, we’re back in our homeworld!” Petire exclaimed. “Err...in a shrunken way, no less.”
Ralph sighs in annoyance as he thinks about going back to the Marines. “Are we going back to Marine HQ? I don’t wanna deal with that magma bastard...”
"Hmm... The Fleet Admiral is an asshole indeed, but we have family here who are worried about us since we disappear on them. On the other hand, the NanoCorps treated us well and even gave us a good bonus on our paycheck, haha," Petire chuckled. "Anyway, let's focus on our current situation and make a decision after that."
“Agree...now where’s Sharper at? He should be here right now.”
As the two Marines scanned their surroundings, they couldn't find any trace of Sharper, not even a single insect was in sight. Petire, feeling curious, turned his gaze towards Nami who was sitting down. With his Kenbunshoku Haki, he focused on locating Sharper and was able to spot him, although barely visible. Sharper was situated near or on Nami's orange sandal.
"Looks like he's on her shoe." said Petire.
"Great, so now we have to rescue him? I really don't want to be near her smelly foot," Ralph complained, receiving a smack on the head from Petire.
"Stop whining, ya dumbass, and let's go save our buddy! Onward!" Petire exclaimed, transforming into a full-fledged armored wyvern. Ralph mounted Petire's scaly back as he flew low towards Nami's location, hoping to save their friend before the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates finds him, and who knows what she'll do to him if she does.
