Before the cat can do anything dumb. Well, anything else dumb, another animal swoops through and snags the shiny bottle.
A greedy seagull had seen it and, thinking it might be food, had snatched it up for himself. He flew away as quickly as he could as the oversized cat raged at him, but the idiotic seagull soon forgot about the feline.
The seagull decided to fly home, as he had tried and failed to swallow the whole bottle. It didn’t take him long to arrive at his beach which was currently packed with people and animals. A few people had heard about the giants on the news, but no one really took it seriously.
The seagull landed on a patch of sand and was finally able to open the bottle. He took a couple swigs of the drink, decided it didn’t taste very good, and left it there.
The seagull instead hopped towards an overflowing trash can just in time to start growing. In big, pulsing thumps, his body swelled up and out, growing large and plump. He outgrew the trash can, then was taller than any people around and finally stopped his growth at the size of a mini van.
“Ooh, fun,” he said before snatching up the entire trash can in one big bite as people and animals stared on in wonder.
