As the giant Pokemon came out, it took shape. Morphing around the light as the Pokeball came back to you. You catch it and look up, eager to see who you your partner was.
A brown body came out. Standing on two feet, with two arms. Claws on the tip of every limb. The body was large, a couple of feet so you were around doll size to it. Only a couple of inches to regular humans. Finally you looked up to the top. Seeing large round ears, and probably the most adorable face you have ever seen.
You just stared at it for a long time, admiring your Pokemon. While on the other end, your Pokemon moved it's hands around. Stretching it's arms out giving out an adorable.
"Teddiursa!" It said with a smile. Seems like really liked being out.
So your Pokemon was a Teddiursa
A normal type, found in Johto and evolves into Ursaring. Also seems to be a female.
Grabbing your shrunken Pokedex you look her up.
"Teddiursa, the Little Bear Pokemon." And at this you had to chuckle. "This Pokemon likes to lick it's palms that are sweetened by being soaked in honey. Teddiursa concocts it's own honey by blending fruits and pollen." You got to admit, that sounded even more adorable.
"Teddiursa?" It questioned. Tilting it's large head from side to side as you at the Pokemon. Was it looking for the trainer that brought her out. Well now was the moment of truth. You've already accepted the Normal type as your Pokemon, but was she going to accept you as her trainer. You were small, tiny and let's face it the weakest trainer in the world. They want a strong trainer and you are not one.
Well... Better go for it. "D-Down here!" You shout to the giant searching bear. She heard, her ears twitching as the giant Pokemon heard. She tilted her large head down. Looking down at you as those big eyes look over you.
Right between her legs a small human stood. The young Pokemon surely did not expect this. "H-Hello!" You shout to it. "I guess I uh... I'm your Pokemon Trainer Teddiursa!"
You shout this as you have to wait for the reaction. The Pokemon looked down, almost like she was thinking about it. Until finally something happened.
The bear smiled, a huge and giant smile! Her eyes shining as she seemed to like you.
"Teddi!" She cheered. Reaching her arms down to you. You of course was startled but let do it. She reached down and picked you up. Her claws not actually sharp when handling you. She brought you up and right to her stomach. Before you could even question what was happening, you got hugged into her plus stomach.
Hugging you as tight as she can as she loved it. She was loving this. You turn your gaze up to her, to see her happily look down at you.
This was the biggest bear hug you have ever gotten. So safe to say she was really glad with you.
"So... Are you okay with having me as your Trainer? You question the normal type. It rose you up to it's face. Holding you with two arms out.
"Ursa!" She chimed happily, as she then brought you back to her chest. "Teddi! Teddiursa!"
"Hehe. I'll take that as a Yes." You say. You are so glad that Teddiursa likes you. Now you can start your journey. As a Normal type, there was not many weaknesses she had besides fighting. She had a stalemate with ghost types, and rock types resisted her.
Which is a real problem considering the Kanto first gym leader was rock. Maybe skip Brock and go for Misty? Or maybe go to another region, you always wanted to explore.
Regardless, now that you had Teddiursa the sky was the limit.
"Teddiursa? She spoke. Funnily enough you forgot the bear was holding you. Just kind of accepted it. She looked down to you with a curious yet adorable look.
"Are you wondering how I got like this?" You say as she nods. "Well I met Mew and she did this." To this she just looked more confused. "Right... Newborn Pokemon. Well there was this powerful and playful Pokemon who shrunk me down to this size. I can get big, if I find it again."
And with this, she gave out a little adorable giggle. "Anyway enough about that. Let's start this adventure! Let's see what moves you know?"
Looking at the Pokedex it informed you. "You know Scratch and Fake Tears. Not bad not bad. As well level up you should be able to know more. So uh... You wanna put me somewhere else Teddiursa. I can walk on own."
Although you said that and you could, the answer was an extreme no. In fact it was the opposite as Teddiursa hugged you even more into her chest. Her warm fur behind you.
"Teddiursa." She pouted down to you.
"I-I guess you can hug me here. But if we run into a battle you gotta put me down."
"Teddi!” She cheered agreeing to the deal. At least your Pokemon really like you.
Now thinking about your future, you should probably train Teddiursa up. She’s not that high level, and facing wild Pokemon was a good start. Then again, you could catch another Pokemon. A Nidoran in the nearby route could be good. Getting a Nidoking or a Nidoqueen is something you want.
And finally, you could spend your time with teddiursa, bonding with her. Plus, well you have recently shrunken down, maybe it would be best to not just jump in there at full speed.
A smile on your face as you decide what you are going to do. Teddiursa was awaiting patiently. She didn’t care which option you went with, she just wanted to spend her time with you. She found you so adorable, and she can’t think of another trainer she would want.
“Okay Teddiursa... let’s ___________”  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
