Eric felt himself being drawn towards a lone egg that was behind the dragon, near where it had been laying down origanally. In a split second, Eric's world became darker than night itself.
"What are you doing to me?" he tried to shout, but he found himself unable to speak.
However, as if sencing his question, the dragon said, "I'm giving you a new life as a dragon. Of course, you'll have to start at the very begining as a child. Of course, it might be a while before the egg hatches. It could be days, or weeks, or months, or even years before the egg decides that you are ready to hatch."
At this, Eric would of gasped, if he'd been able to do so.
"My body!" he thought."What will happen to it."
Once again, as if sencing his thoughts, the dragon said, "Your body will be put in a safe place under a preservation spell, that will keep it safe, until I say that you are ready to inhabit it again. Now relaxe and go to sleep, and I'll see you when it is time for you to hatch. Besides, it might be a pleasure for me to raise you as a son or even, a daughter."
