Scoring A Date

"Uh... here's just fine. if y'know, you want to..." I stammered out, still nervous as hell but also completely awestruck that this girl was asking me out to dinner. I honestly still had no idea why she would ask me. If she liked bigger guys, then Dmitri would be more compelling. Truthfully I was expecting her to say 'Just kidding!' But nothing. she just kept smiling at me.

"That sounds great!" Julie exclaimed, "I'll have you know, I'm something of an expert of the food around here." She chuckled, trying to inject levity in our conversation, Obviously sensing how awkward and nervous I was being.

"Well I'll let you get back to it." I sighed. "I'll see you tomorrow at two."

"Yeah definitely! Just remember to bring your appetite." Julie said while cocking her eyebrows.

And with that, I returned to my table where Dmitri was sucking down the last of the chocolate milkshake.

"Judging by the fact your face looks like its been incinerated, I take it didn't go well? My friend said, matter-of-factly.

"She asked me to dinner. Here, tomorrow at two." I murmured while nibbling a fry.

Dmitri's jaw then dropped and his eyes widened like saucers. "Whoa! Damn Conrad, good for you!"

"She called you 'A nice looking guy' too." I quickly added.

"Damn. I shoud've went up there. I could've stole her from right under your nose." He sighed, grabbing a handful of fries and putting them in his mouth.

I couldn't help but feel pretty good about myself about scoring a date, and I didn't need to ask, she did! It was only lunch at Polyburger, not exactly a high-class establishment. But I had to make sure I did everything right.

I got up from my seat and grabbed my things. "I better head. Got plenty to do!" I sung to myself.

Dmitri looked up from the last pieces of his meal and blurted out "If you ever need any advice Con, I'm your man." I coudn't help but roll my eyes, Dmitri's success rate with women wasn't exactly what one would call 'impressive'.

As I bid my friend goodbye. I slipped out of Polyburger to take care of some errands I had do, then I could prepare for my date with Julie.

You have the following choices:

1. Tomorrow, I wait for Julie at Polyburger.

2. Actually, something happens... (Free Choice)
