Sometimes, like today, I feel like I'm the only person on the planet, and I'm just visiting. After looking around, I decide to leave. Joel aka Brother Nature

Fresh Water Journal/Blog Prompt #3: Reward for Participation “There was an old woman, who lived in a shoe. She had so many children she didn't know what to do. She gave them some broth without any bread. She whipped them all soundly and sent them to bed.” And now for a somewhat demented 2011 version There was an old woman, who lived in a shoe. Hit hard by the recession, what else can one do? She had several children, with a guy from Nepal. The guy started drinking and abandoned them all. In the shoe with the children, she barely could take it. Survival skills weak, she just wouldn't make it. One kid complained that the bread was too stale, so she beat them all soundly, and now she's in jail. Joel aka Brother Nature

After not writing much of a first post, I thought it would be a good idea to spend some time reading other blog posts.I read several posts and commented on a few as well. Sharkdaddy shared his likes, dislikes, and strategies in regards to blogging. That gave me some good ideas of some does and don'ts going for-ward in this journey into journal-ling. <---- That would be a don't right there. Thank you Sharkdaddy, and good luck with the novel. Rixy posted a piece about "worst first"...go read it. I started my day by making a worst first plan, and I'm spending the evening writing. For a first day it went pretty good. The weather vain that was on the garage floor for the past few months is now on the roof. Thank you Rixy, hope you get out of your classroom safely. I will continue to think and act "worst first" and will blog it out daily prior to writing on the prompt. Now that the worst is done, I'll give the weekly prompt challenge a try. Create a story using words of one-syllable only, beginning with a phrase such as: “What can I tell you…” What can I tell you, I just had to do it. I love these types of .... hmmmmm more hard than I thought. I can do it, but not with out Chee Ting. Chee Ting is my friend from back home in Tie Land. One day Chee Ting and I went to the park. We had so much fun. We ran and swam and sang. On the way home Chee Ting said, "if you want, I will help you write your blog". I was so full of glee. I was just thin king that I would not be a bull to do it with out you Chee Ting. I love you. The End. Joel aka Brother Nature
