Heading out towards the water may end up being the last and worst idea you'll ever have. You think this, and decide to stay on land and wait for help. There's only one small problem (well, besdies your size, of course): You never told anyone you were coming here. It could definitely be quite the long while before any person would come to help.
You stay on your beach towel, seeming to serve as a force of comfort, perhaps even a hiding spot in a pinch. There also appears to be another problem: You didn't bring food for yourself. This doesn't appear to be as big of a problem as being picked off by something.
While thinking deeply, you notice an earthworm peeking up from the sand. Yes, an earthworm. One that should normally be obtaining nutrients from the soil. Then you see two, then three. What?! There must be a nutrient deficiency in the soil, as earthworms are an uncommon sight in such a place. A seagull picks off two of the earthworms, gobbling one after the other, then flying off. You sigh, thinking these earthworms serve as good distractions. You see another uncommon sight heading towards the beach: a sparrow. It seems to have missed the earthworm, and lands on the beach towel. Try to refrain from thought like that in the future.
The sparrow makes quick hops towards you. You back up, but it's too late. The bird already has you grasped in its beak, and begins to fly off with a new catch. It appears to be a lucky day for Mr. sparrow...or is it?
