There are some times when a girl has to do whatever is necessary to get her own way. Spotting it was a young gentlewoman, finely dressed and on a beautiful white stallion, Dauphin stepped into the road. She did her best to look as helpless and lost as possible and, as she expected, the other girl stopped.
Knowing that if she tried to start a conversation, she might have regrets about what she was about to do, Dauphin struck immediately. Knocking the girl unconscious was easy, fitting into her long flowing robes less so, but before long Dauphin was changed and ready. She would have to try another gate of course, as the guards at the last gate might recognise her.
