It was an average day in the city. People were going about doing their business as usual. Deer were in their offices doing work, foxes were enjoying lunch with their friends, rabbits were getting groceries. It was like just about any other day. But that wouldn't stay true for much longer.
It started with distant booms echoing through the sky. Many people took no notice at first, writing the noise off as construction work or a car accident. The booms began to grow and more and more people began to take notice, until the source of the noises become completely indisputable as anything but what it truly was. It was a titanic monster.
The beast stomped towards the city with footsteps powerful enough to register on the Richter scale. Through size alone it was able to cross tremendous distance in little time. And most of all, instead of a coat of fur, the majority of its body was covered by a strange, smooth fleshy surface. At least at the visible areas; many parts of its body were covered by what could only be described as clothing. But how could such a monster acquire fitting clothes?
It was like nothing anyone in this world had scene before, even without being tall enough to dwarf a building. The world was unprepared for its arrival. No one knew how to react to its appearance; even if the armed forces of the world were to attack, how many lives would be ended before they could arrive? How could they even fight back against this thing? The monster was a complete unknown, including the fact that "it" identified as...
