“I’ll start easy on you,” the voice announced. “I see you’re a pretty smart man. Straight A’s in all your classes, that’s impressive. I see right now you’re in an advanced math class. Everyone in here is pretty smart but it seems like some are more intelligent than others. What do you know about Becky Sullivan?” Your eyes went wide as you realized the curse knew everything. You had no clue how the voice knew your classmate’s name and everything about you.
“You know the answer,” you said back to the voice in your mind.
“Yes but I want to hear you tell me,” the voice replied.
“Becky is smart enough to be in these advanced classes.”
“That’s right but it appears Becky is the bottom of your class. Not a dumb girl but on the verge of slipping into the normal classes based on her exam scores,” the voice stated. “I want you to approach her when the class ends and ask her if she’d want to be smarter.”
“What the hell does that mean?” You said confused by what the voice was demanding you to do.
“When the bell rings, you will ask Becky that. Do that or trust me, I can make things way worse,” the voice said as its tone started to sound a bit frustrated at you.
