We Continue on to another nursery, where we join a trio of kemonomimi girls waking up to the first day of their new life.
First up is Luci, formerly Saintess Lucia, who as usual wakes up with a Tei and a Tama beside her. Only the two of them are a lot more snuggly than normal... Wait...
Luci flashes back to the scene of the impossibly hopeless fight against the Demon Lord. Everyone lying covered in blood as she struggled to stay conscious against the oppressive and dominating aura of their foe.
Luci's eyes pop open and she carefully sits up, taking in the sight of the room.
Is she alive? Is this the afterlife? Wherever it is it sure is pretty.
Luci's marvelling at the room is interrupted as the kittengirl and puppygirl currently cuddling the foxgirl(who's now a kitgirl I guess?) also begin to wake up.
The half asleep kitten is the first to speak, with her normal jovial "mownin wuci, tei" not even noticing her voice is much higher pitched, nor her adorable lisp. Tei follows up with her own "Mownin", also not noticing the pitch or her own lisp.
This exchange causes Luci to take a good look at her two friends, who are now much younger than the last time she saw them...
Before realizing she's also a lot younger than the last time she saw her. The Kitten and the Puppy are notorious sleepyheads and no sooner than they stirred are once again out like a light, which makes things quite a bit easier for our Fox Kit as she starts to investigate.
First, carefully looking around as to not wake the two younger girls, she spies a pair of Cribs across the room, next to a partion wall. There are cute signs on each of them, which she can tell are different, but she can't read demonic script... DEMONIC SCRIPT!?
Luci narrowly avoids screaming and waking Tama and Tei...
This isn't heaven...
This is the Demon Lord's Territory...
Luci's investigation comes to a halt as her brain goes into overdrive and she begins to go over the facts:
A. This place is in the Demon Lord's Territory, AKA ENEMY TERRITORY. Sure that's not the only place you can find demonic script but given what they were doing before they woke up here...
B. She, and at least Tama and Tei, are alive somehow, but also are little kids, no not even kids, toddlers, THEY ARE TODDLERS.
C. This is the nicest room she's ever been in, and as the Saintess she's been in lots of nice rooms.
Luci's brain gears spin out as the contradictory facts, and the girl decides to go back to sleep. Not even noticing that she has an extra tail.
Tei and Tama soon are once again tightly cuddled up with Luci, and the three girls are soon back to dreamland  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
