We continue to yet another nursery. In it sit two cribs.
In one crib is a tiny little girl, a couple months shy of one year old. Though the little girl was human not but a few days ago, now she's a vampire. Unlike her friends, she wasn't even a teenager before Mommy met her.
In the other crib we find a little elf girl, who's quite special as she used to pretend she was a boy. But Mommy's little princess couldn't hide that she's really a girl from Mommy, and so she fixed that problem for her. She's about 1 and a half.
The occupants of this nursery stir awake at roughly the same time.
The younger one notes her body feels weird. Smaller... She decides to test it.
She can sit up, turn over etc. but the one thing she can't seem to do is stand up without holding onto the railing of the crib she's found herself in, her legs giving out within seconds after she lets go.
While she's doing that, her roommate is waking up. The Elf girl wakes up sleepily. The first thing she notices is that she's a girl!(not that her body is any different aside from being a lot younger... Well her hair is a different color now but still. #TransRights)
Excitement from that aside, Mint, as the girl is named, begins to looks around, and is very confused as to where she is, when she sees the little girl in the other crib.
This Little Girl, named Runa, has once again pulled herself up to standing, and looks at her roommate who has stood up in their own crib to meet her.
Runa, despite not even knowing Mint when she was this young the first time, and Mint having a brand new hair color, immediately clocks this baby she's looking at as Mint, since Mint's face at 1½ is not all that different from her face at 6 when they first met.
She happily prepares to call out to her friend who's in much the same situation as she is. She carefully removes the pacifier she's been sucking on this whole time as to not fall before calling out... But instead of words there's just baby babble.
Mint on the other hand, despite not knowing Runa when she was this young the first time, and Runa now having Scarlet Eyes now instead Blue ones, immediately clocks this baby she's looking as as Runa, due to her unmistakable Runa Face.
Mint can't help but giggle at Runa's Baby Babble as she attempts to talk to her. The younger girl is bit dejected at being so young she can't talk anymore, but Mint, seeing the look in Runa's eyes, quickly replies "cheer up Wuna!"
Runa immediately perks up upon hearing her friend say her name, even if mangled a bit by a toddler's lisp. Mint continues, finding her vocabulary quite limited despite still being perfectly eloquent in her head. "Oo no tawk muth Nywayth, no pobwem!" Is the sentence she manages to put together to comfort her friend.
Runa giggles happily at both Mint's mangled sentence and the message it conveys, causing Mint to giggle in return. The giggles are soon followed by a yawn in unison, the two of them not quite ready to get up yet.
They share a "Nite" and a "Bah" before returning to their cribs for a bit more shuteye.
Neither of them really paying too much mind to being babies again.
