Having been squashed by nearly everyone and everything in the kingdom (as well as experiencing more than a couple digestive systems), the Prince was desperate for a cure. Having overseen the Spectrum Knights training, as well as seeing how well they've trained the other knights, Prince Jack was confident in their skills. Their last encounter with the Luna Witch ended in embarrassing fashion, and made the Prince open and vulnerable for the Witch to curse. He didn't want them to try to confront her until he was certain that their next encounter would go differently.
Then again, there were other ways that the Knights could help him.

Go with one of the higher ranking knights to confront the Luna Witch directly. Marjorie and Clarabella are two of the most skilled combatants, but the Witch is powerful, and they don't share the Prince's immortality. This will be a difficult choice.

Juliana's brother, Julius, is highly skilled in alchemy. Although he's been known to use his talents for pranks more often than not, he's likely to have an idea of how to cure the Prince's condition.

Nike's time traveling with her family of assassins has given her knowledge of various mystical items. One that she's recently recalled is an amulet that makes the wearer immune to curses.

The mage, Rixa, has been itching to try to use her own magic to dispel the Prince's curse. Maybe it's time to give her a chance.

Lainey's immunity to magic could hold the key to curing the Prince.
