Christmas morning arrived at the Burrow, the land was covered in fresh snow, the garden gnomes were deep down in their underground homes. The Burrow was silent and peaceful, something that didn't happened too often. Molly Weasley sighed peacefully holding her cup of tea, this was her moment, just sitting and waiting in the calm before the storm.
And storm it did. A loud yell and then two of her boys screamed, "IT's CHRISTMAS!!!"
There was knocking on every door, urging the residents to wake up for opening their presents.
Slowly everyone was coming downstairs, these were the few times in the year that Ronald was the first down, Hermione was last and was dragged by Ginny who thought her friend was way too slow this particular morning.
When everyone sat down near the tree they all got some hot coco to enjoy before opening presents.
One of the last presents given was Harry's to Hermione. It was a beautiful necklace, the string was silver and the pendant was a sublte sparkling purple 'H'.
"Wow Harry this is way too much, I can't accept this." Hermione blushed.
"No really Hermione, I found it somewhere in Muggle London in pawn shop it was a steal, I know your favorite color is purple and I immediately thought of you." Harry reassured her.
"Wow it is very beautiful Hermione! and even you first letter is on it." Ginny gushes, and Hermione saw she was genuine.
"Put it on dear." Mrs Weasley encouraged.
"Here let me help you." Harry offered, sitting next to her, it was easy the put the necklace on her while she held up her hair.
When she turned to him again she smiled shyly which he returned. The others in the room chuckled at the two in front of them.
This was turning out to be a wonderful Christmas!

A few days later in Diagon Alley a person buys a ring in one of the shops, while the ring looked to be nothing out of the ordinary when this person put it on it felt comfortably warm and it had a certain magical aura over it.
