Diana Prince was heading towards her office when she saw a blonde woman with glasses on the floor picking up some papers she had accidently dropped. The Amazon woman made her way over, got down on her knees, and started helping the other woman pick up the papers. "Here, let me help" she said with a friendly smile.
The blonde woman, Barbara Minerva was a little startled by the kind of kindness. She was admittedly on the nerdy side and most people seemed to ignore her. It was a pleasant surprise to see this tall and gorgeous woman helping her. She was still new to the museum so she hadn't met everyone yet but was hopeful that she could make a new friend in the button. "Thank you for helping" she said to Diana after all the papers had been picked up and both women had stood up. The blonde adjusted her glasses before introducing herself and extending her hand for a handshake. "I'm Barbara by the way. I'm new here" she said.
"It's nice to meet you Barbara. My name is Diana" the brunette replied back with a smile as she shook the other woman's hand.
Barbara realized what she was about to say was a little bit forward but she really wanted to make a new friend. "Would you be interested in getting lunch later? she asked Diana with a hopeful smile. She was used to eating alone but it would be so much nicer to have a friend to go to lunch with. Also, the blonde was trying not to stare but Diana was gorgeous. "It's nice to meet you as well Diana" the blonde said.
Diana had mostly kept to herself, at least from a personal life standpoint, since she lost the love of her live in Steve Trevor. Here though, this woman was asking her to lunch, maybe it was time for her to get a bit more social again. Also, she didn't want to be rude. Barbara seemed a little nerdy or awkward but also really sweet. It would be nice to have a friend again.
