John decided to keep things simple and to the point, this glue was a total load of crap, he knew it. But then why was there this voice in his brain telling him to prove it? Almost like it was provoking him.
"That's it!" John said aloud as if telling himself off, "I'll prove there's nothing magical about this glue right now!"
John scanned his desk and picked up his paperweight he got as a gift for his birthday last year. It wasn't particularly heavy, it just looked cool, a pure white rock with a purple gem-like side to it that was about the size of a baseball. John applied a generous amount of glue to the rock and picked it up with his right hand.
"Oh no," John said sarcastically, "whatever will I do now?" He began to laugh at the idea of anything happening at all. After his quick chuckle, he put the paperweight back down and went to go downstairs.
