Without so much as a second thought, Judy opened the cap of the bottle and chugged its contents down her throat. Instantly, she tasted the flavor of blueberry as she smacked her lips and slammed the vial on the nearby desk, crossing her arms as she glared daggers at the two officers who were confused by her actions.
"Woah," said Clawhauser. "Are you sure you should have done that, Judy?"
"Done what?" asked Nick. "Come on, Clawhauser, you don't really think that there's a magic potion that turns mammals into balloons, do you?"
"Well..."
While the two bickered with each other, Judy placed a paw on her stomach as the drink settled down into its gurgling depths. She felt strange. Gassy, almost. Like she had consumed a large amount of carbonated drink that was bubbling in her innards. She breathed deeper and deeper, watching as her chest would expand and retract with each breath. Until she tried breathing out...Only her stomach remained expanded.
Curious, Judy breathed in again and watched as her belly extended beyond what it was physically capable of doing. Then it remained at a new, bigger size. She almost looked mildly pregnant like this and her friends finally took notice.
"No way," said Nick as he stared in awe at Judy's bloated belly.
"Way," Judy replied as she patted her bloated tummy before breathing in deeply again.
Judy felt full. So incredibly full that she thought her body couldn't possibly hold anymore air. Yet, with each breath she took, she seemed to grow a little bit bigger. So big, in fact, that she had to take a moment to remove her belt and drop it on the desk next to the bottle.
"Okay, Carrots," said Nick. "I think you proved your point. You can stop now."
"...I don't think I can," Judy replied as she suddenly realized the flaw in her plan, as her tummy swelled a little bigger. Despite feeling bloated, she was also strangely light on her toes.
"Well, how big are you going to get then?"
Judy bit her lip as she remembered the kangaroo suspect and how big she had swollen up to. If that was any clue then Judy would grow to the size of...
