This choice: A huge balloon the size of a car • Go Back...Chapter #7Floating Away by: Ëtalfni   "Big," Judy replied. "Well, pretty big. Big enough to fly, at least. Um, if I go off of that kangaroo we were pursuing then probably...The size of a car?"
"Wow, uh, okay. Clawhauser, we're going to need to step out for a bit until whatever this is wears off."
"Okay," replied the cheetah looking uncertain. "But Bogo's probably not going to like that very much."
"Well, I think inflating in the middle of the precinct is going to cause a bit of a panic. Tell Bogo he can come to the roof if he wants to see for himself what happened to that suspect he was complaining about."
And with that, Nick ushered Judy away into the nearest elevator, away from any curious eyes. Judy was so small that no one seemed to noticed the sizeable bump in her belly. And Judy was doing everything she could to hold her breath because it seemed like the inflation was controlled by her breathing.
However, once they got into the elevator, she could not longer hold it.
Judy breathed in deep as her stomach surged forward, catching Nick by surprise as Judy swelled past the size of a normal pregnancy and into the realm of cartoonishly large.
"Wow," Nick repeated as the elevator suddenly felt a little cramped. "Uh, hang on."
Nick hit the button to the roof as Judy quietly tried to control her breathing. It was actually quite hard to do as the gurgling in her stomach seemed to spread to other parts of her body now that her tummy was so large. Judy could feel the back of her pants behind to tighten up as she felt her thighs begin to rub against each other as she squirmed about. It was actually getting a little harder to move around. Not because she felt heavier, if anything she almost felt like she could leap six feet into the air with little resistance. It was more to do with the strange hollow sensation all throughout her body. Her legs felt sluggish and stiffer than usual as the door finally opened to the rooftop.
From an outsider perspective, it looked like Judy had become grossly overweight in a matter of seconds with her stomach, butt, and legs becoming much thicker. Though strangely enough her uniform remained intact and never once ripped or tore. Nick casually grabbed at Judy's paw to guide her outside but found almost no resistance as he hoisted her into the air with one arm.
"Woah!" Judy cried as she took a deep breath and swelled up even more. "Careful!"
"Sorry!" Nick replied. "I just didn't expect you to be so...Light."
Judy now weighted about half of what she normally did, based on the last time Nick had lifted her up. As he set her down, she literally bounced on the floor like her body was no longer made of flesh and blood but rubber and air. Indeed, most of the growth focused on her belly and bottom. Though Judy could feel it start to spread through her limbs and torso now as her arms started to puff up. She rubbed at her stomach, tapping it to listen to how hollow it was before pinching a good pawful of skin. Only it didn't feel like skin anymore. It felt like a balloon. A very furry balloon.
"Carrots," Nick interrupted her musings. "I had a thought...If you're getting lighter and the suspect floated away, does that mean you might too?"
Judy gulped as the hollow feeling spread to her paws and fingers. "Maybe the roof was a bad idea..."
"Well, hang on. Let me see if I can find something to weigh you down or tie you up..."
Nick glanced around the rooftop and...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
